Yes, Board of Ed drivers gets nice buses, while private school routes get shitty buses. It isn't fair that private drivers are better drivers than the Board of Ed. The Board of Ed is very strict, compare to private routes. The person that gives buses always gives me shitty buses, while I see others with nice ones. This company shouldn't discriminate against BOE drivers from Private and it's ridiculous that BOE drivers finish before 4 pm, before it gets dark compare to private routes that get home past 7 or 8, depending on traffic. The bosses arrive early to the base and get home before dark too. Board of ed driver's get benefits and Private driver's don't. This company should not that private driver's have family too.

I just had a driver cut me off on the right lane on the horace harding expwy AND he had kids on the bus. Unfortunately i only got partial number on the bus but i did get the name and a picture of it. I went up to him and asked him why would he do that and he told me to go f**k myself. You guys have very disrespectful drivers and do not respect everyday traffic laws. You just lost a customer and ill make sure that people know about your drivers.

Idiots

I called SAFE COACH to complain about how their bus driver on bus ZF0089 loves to blow his horn at his stops even when the kids are right there. But also likes to lay on his horn when he's running late. The person I spoke to, Carrine, hung up the phone on me. So rude.

I had a road rage experience with a driver from this company, bus #56. We were driving down a oneway st. with a Accordion city bus in front, I was behind the bus and bus #56 behind me. He kept flicking and honking his horn at the bus, so I thought being that there was no squeezing room, not even for a motorcycle. Very narrow st with cars parked on both sides. As I approached stop sign he pulls up next to me, now we had room being there was a bus stop at the corner, in a rage as if I were at fault. I couldn't hear a word but his non-verbals said enough. As I ignore him, he reaches out of window and hits front right panel of my car. I was going opposite of him, he going right and I going left. But I couldn't let him get away with this. Now I make the right turn and I'm behind him trying to get a name, phone number etc... He then runs his first red light as he made a left. I lost count of how many lights he ran. Please note, I also had no choice but to run the lights in order to get the info I needed. Finally after several right turns which kept us going in a square he decided to run the light and stops in front of the 7th Precinct. I don't think he knew that because he came out the bus in a threatening manner. I kept my cool, and reminded him of his conduct all the while I'm ignoring him and trying to get the info I needed. Phone number read 718-257-444. I figured with the name of bus company I'll google it. So here I am. Top it off he gets back in the bus/van and takes off again as if he were in a car chase and runs the stop sign at the corner of the precinct, I heard some people yell at him. Being I got the bus/van info I wasn't going after him. I also got a good description of him (about 5' 9" slender African American male with prescriptive glasses) and a mouth that only a Mother could love. I get home and google safe coach I get the missing number and asked to speak with someone in management. Individual identified himself as Vinny and said speaking. I reported that above to him and he was very apologetic. As soon as I gave him the bus number, number 56 he said it couldn't be because that bus/van has not left the yard all day. I give him the driver's description and he acknowledged knowing the driver and even vouched that he's one of the their better drivers. "Probably had a bad day" where his words. Bad day or not that conduct endangers the lives of others and should not be tolerated. Had this been 20 years ago one of us would have been arrested and or the hospital. I have 3 priors and although not proud of it, I am proud that I changed my life and today I hold a city job. I'm proud that I kept my cool and didn't let that idiot put me in jail for his misconduct reckless behavior. Yes, I took a risk by going after him to get the bus/van info but I must admit I didn't expect him to run so many lights and drive so reckless. And as for his driving please don't fire the guy but please do send him to some road rage class at his expense. Seeing a school bus/van drive in such manner with the company name on it "Safe Coach" isn't appealing for business. Sincerely, A Nice Fella
