Rakhi did a great job with waxing my brows and upper lip. She was very nice and explained to me what she was doing as she was doing it. She was also very gentle which is a plus. I have been coming to Rakhee for many years. I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my face but her. My eyebrows are always on point. People stop me on the street to ask me about my eyes and my answers is always the same, Raksha Spa always has me looking right!

PLEASE, please DO NOT go to this place for your eyebrows. The Indian lady who runs this place is rude and obnoxious. I would never have gone there if my usual eyebrow threading place (salon right at Willoughby and Jay street) or the one further down on Willoughby was open. Due to the holiday (July 4th) only this place was open and I REGRET I went there. She was very rough and harsh and bruised me while doing my eyebrows. I had red specs and above my right eyebrow, some of my skin was bruised - making it red and inflamed. I get my eyebrows done very often and have used this place a long time ago in the past. I understand that the skin can get irritated and inflamed, but this was bad. From other reviews, I learn that her name is "Rajshahi". While threading my eyebrows, she asked me what happened to my skin and I had no clue what she was talking about. After she finished threading, I saw what she was referring to and told her it wasn't like this when I got there. I couldn't believe her audacity - she refused it happened while she threaded my eyebrows! She made me show my eyebrows - or rather brought attention to it by asking the other African American women in the store to touch and see if this was something that could have just happened. I was totally enraged. I paid her what she asked for and then before leaving some people were walking in and I said aloud "please don't get your eyebrows done here!" Of course, they turned around and I sincerely hope you readers do the same. I believe I'm a reasonable person and such things happen with eyebrows, but I couldn't get over the fact that she didn't admit to it and didn't apologize. Absolutely no customer care. I've seen her treat her staff before in a very degrading manner and that's the reason why I stopped going there. I will never go back again.

dont ever go here !!!! i promise you will regret it ! first off the lady who owns this place is rude as everrrrrr !!! and i was recommended by a friend that she was good, but when i tell you someone messed up the shape of my eyebrows!!! she did it, like i had an arch she made my eyebrows curved!! she also thins your brows, so if you have luscious thick eyebrows, save yourself the time & money !!! she also thread hard...so its very painful !!! i went home and almost cried looking at my eyebrows, now i have to grow them out for months, but i guess it's a lesson learned !!!! she also doesn't hear the customer's out, i was trying to explain to her how i wanted them done, but she was too into talking to other customers! she was also touching money, then but her filthy hands on my brows...just ughh...dont go here if you truly want to be happy with your brows!!!

I have been coming here for almost 2 years to get my eyebrows threaded and I won't go anywhere else. Perfect even job everytime. Ask for Rakhi!
