I'd like to start by saying that I only selected 1 star because I had to in order to post this. For a customer service based business that has been around for such a long time, they are in need of a serious evaluation of their business as a whole. Never have I received such poor customer service in my life. It seemed that after you sign the contract and start paying, the less attentive they become. From initially walking into the studio I thought I was going to get a great product but that was just for show. One would think the more expensive a service is that means it will be better- how ignorant of me to think this because Photography Elite is just mediocre. My engagement pictures were terrible- the lighting was not right and they were emailed to me- no hard copies. I should have cancelled then!!! Mistakenly for both those pictures and day of pictures I did not give the photographer a list of must take shots because I was convinced that he knew what he was doing and boy was I wrong. During the day of the wedding I didn’t think it was my job to tell my photographer what pictures to take because for the thousands of dollars that I paid, this was probably something he should have been a pro at. Yet I have all posed traditional and very dated shots. Every picture is the same, just different faces. Also I have no idea when he left because he did not say bye which in my opinion was rude and very unprofessional – thanks Angel. The second photographer, Tony (who I’d never met and wasn’t the talent I hired) captured beautiful shots, especially of the groom getting ready, shots that the lead photographer should have been taken for the bride – thanks again for that Angel. The back office help was horrendous. Very rude, impersonal and difficult to work with. She paid no attention to detail and I picked up many mistakes that she the professional should have caught. Her terrible attitude made the thank you card, picture selection and album proofing very uncomfortable and unpleasant. She clearly did not check over her work which is something which her managers should really take notice of. To put the cherry on top of the entire experience I watched the video. It was awful and is not something you will see if you google the studio and watch some of their video samples. Not only was the video poorly done, the footage very shaky,they missed important elements that i wished they would have shown and the music selection was dated (my own mistake as I should not have left anything to their poor discretion). They gave me the raw footage of the video on a cassette that I can not play at home since I do not have an adapter for it. I would not expect them to give me the courtesy of being able to watch the video by putting it on either a DVD or VHS. I am going to try and bring this footage to a more reputable company to see if they can salvage any memories for me. I am happy that I no longer have to deal with Photography Elite and do not recommend hiring them to document any of your future affairs because they are unable to provide you with the service you need and the important memories you wish to remember.

It was a big mistake to choose Photography Elite for my wedding. I had a very bad experience with them. The information that was given to us before signing the contract was completely different after the wedding. Do not forget to ask all the details before signing the contract, like: thank you cards, payment requirements, due date for your proof, etc. Photography Elite is also a very unorganized place. The photographer and all the crew were not prepared for my wedding and as the result of their unprofessional job I missed the best part of my wedding celebration. Real advice for everyone that is looking for professional photos: shop around, always read reviews and DO NOT GO to Photography Elite.
