DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE COMPLETE SCAMMERS! They say all the things you want to hear and disregard them in the end. They DO NOT have their own moving trucks, as shown on their website, and subcontract out the move to amateurs! I lived the "moving nightmare" we've all heard about because of them! Heed my advice and STAY AWAY!

I do not believe a single one of the reviews written here for NY Van Lines. They sound and "feel" written by the moving company. If you click on the name of the writers you'll see that this is the only review they have ever written in this site. On the other hand, in YELP, Van Lines was given 1 star by two reviewers.

i was so skeptical about this company at first terrified to use them but all the other companies were charging me and arm and a leg, so i just stayed with them, i dont regret it at all. All my things got to me just like i handed it to them. they assembled all my things back together i couldnt believe i got that treatment for such a good price. i can recommend them to any one

very good moving company... very efficient, the price was cheap. ill most definitely use them or recommend them to anyone.

this is by far the greatest moving company i have used. They are on time and they take great care of the fragile objects. they offered me an economical price that fit perfectly into my budget: far less expensive than what the other companies had offered. i have no regrets on taking their service and i will use them in my next upcoming move.

The day of the delivery I arrived at the house in New York to collect my shipment. We are delighted to see how well packed everything was when it arrived. My husband had thought that the cases would just arrive the way they left our apartment but not so! Everything was so well wrapped. You all did a great job and thank you so much for storing the stuff for so long. So please thank all the guys who did our stuff for me - great service and helpful people. New York Van Line is an exceptional moving company. They work hard and stay concentrated at the task at hand. They do not fool around. They know what to do, how to do it, and when to do it. I would use them again. I would recommend them to anyone trying to move.

"I have moved several times in the past 15 years, and I have also worked in the industry, as a driver and a mover - In all that time, I have never worked with a more professional, friendly, courteous, strong, able-bodied, and diligent team than this. Angie was generous with his time, and extremely thoughtful in planning the move, going so far as to assess the destination to know how we could pack and approach it. On the move day, Jawanza walked me through their approach, making me confident that everything would be handled with care, and the entire crew made me feel comfortable that they were all very skilled at this, and I could trust them with all of the delicate antique belongings. They moved quickly, but always safely, not once even bumping into a wall. The delivery involved a steep grassy and muddy hill, which the crew handled with an agile grace and poise, never giving a hint of being upset about such a difficult delivery. It was a pleasure to watch this well oiled machine in action, and to work with them to make sure that all furniture was set up and all boxes were stored exactly as needed. Their patience and warm nature throughout the entirety of the move turned the day into a fun and pleasant experience. I thank them, and the whole company, for taking such good care of me and my whole family."

I used right start movers for my recent move to texas. The day before my move the company I had booked a month before called to say they would be unable to do my move after all. As you can imagine, it was devastated. Thankfully right start lived up to their name and not only agreed to do my move the next day, but also at a great price and the same rate as the original company I booked with. On the day of the move, the removalists kept in contact with me all morning before they arrived and when they did were friendly, polite and did an amazing job. They also finished the job in record time and did not try and run out the move longer as I had experienced with a different company the last time I moved. I cannot tell you enough how happy I was with this company and I will absolutely definitely use them again for my next move. New york van lines has some really good representatives they are nice people. They show concern about your personal life as well as your move. New york Van lines really has step up to the plate. In this state of bad economy has created great prices that is really helpful. They are understanding and is well worth the money spent. I have no regrets moving with them. I would refer these guys to anyone that is moving. Many companies rip you off they take your money and the service is bad. Something go missing or your furniture gets damage the company feels its not there fault, but New york van lined reassure you that they are responsible for what happen to your belongings.

I have used many professional movers because I relocate a lot. But I never experienced such a neat, smooth, quick, stress free move in the past. I thank the movers and their sales rep angie for such an outstanding service. They moved us to Florida from Texas without any problems. Packing was terrific, moving time was a lot less than what I was expecting and accuracy was almost 100 percent. I am really lucky to have such world class service within my budget! There is no single fault that I can point out in the working of this moving company. My apartment was packed nice and tidy. Even the landlord of the apartment was impressed by their neat work. I had no problem opening their packing or finding the stuff. The sensitive things traveled without any damage to the materials, and I was really happy with their work. New York van lines is a really good moving company. The guys are very helpful.
