Provided by YP.comAs avid Mexican food lovers, we were truly excited to learn that Lobos Loco was opening nearby; only to be terribly disappointed by both the food and service. The food was mediocre and overpriced matched by very pricey drinks. Additionally, they nickel and dime their customers by charging $3 for extra small chips/salsa, $4 for two spoonfuls of flavorless guacamole, etc. Rosa Mexicano is cheaper and definitely worth it, with free chips and delicious, flavorful guacamole prepared tableside/fresh...unlike the Lobos Loco knockoff with their unprofessional, inattentive and immature waiter; chatting and joking with his friends at nearby tablesand ignoring their customers. The bus boys, hostesses and decor were nice; but HoBrah, Paco's Taco's ...even hohum Chiquititas ...have absolutely nothing to worry about once the pricey, flavorless food sinks in and its novelty wears off. Definitely not worth the trip, save your money; there's also Los Lobos in Park Slope, just an R train ride away
