Kingsboro Alcoholism Treatment Center is a freestanding chemical dependency rehab facility. The inpatient rehabilitation facility uses a variety of disciplines and techniques to support recovery from addictions. Sessions are offered for the following addictions: alcohol, cocaine, heroin, nicotine and psychiatric. The licensed 100-bed facility also offers a detox program. Kingsboro advocates an environment that encourages abstinence while at the facility and after discharge. In addition, KATC serves those populations rejected by other rehabs, including pregnant women, medicated psychiatric patients and recidivists. A face-to-face interview is required of all newly admitted patients. The facility is licensed by New York State OASAS. KATCH is accredited by JCAHO and is headquartered in Brooklyn, N.Y.
