I live in Champaign, IL so there aren't too many junk car dealers. I checked few local dealers but I wasn't satisfied with what they offered so I decided to give Junk-A-Car a try. I was skeptical at first but someone called me within an hour and was very pleasant to deal with. They even offered me little more than I anticipated. Once I agreed to sell the car, someone came to my home to pick up car and handed me a check. It was a painless process except the part of letting go of my car of 13 years. Next time, I'm just going to call them first. It was a great experience for me. I will recommend them to my family and friends.

Not a very positive experience. Our scheduled pickup time was a Friday, for which my husband took off a vacation day. We were left a message that a call was made the prior day (Thursday) to confirm pickup, but we were never informed this would take place. We would've left a work contact number had we known we had to confirm a pickup the day before. So we scheduled for the next Monday. No one showed. When I called they said it was schedule for Tuesday. Finally, that's when the car was picked up.

Overall, the experience was positive, however, the contracted individual who picked up our car did not write us a check before leaving. My husband had to run him down in order to collect the amount. Supposedly, "he forgot" but somehow knew the exact amount he was to pay us. Before my husband arrived, he had told me it would be mailed to us.



The company may want to consider not using the individual we had since it is their reputation he reflects.



It turned what would have been 5 star service into less than stellar service.

Fast and easy service. Pick up was on time and I got what I was promised.

The service was extraordinary from start to finish. They were efficient, courteous and effective with the towing. It was absolutely the type of service that I deeply appreciate with any company.

Phenomenal service - called with an offer the very next day just as they'd said. It was very easy to set up a pick-up time and the staff were very nice.

They did what they said they would do. nothing more....nothing less. Came and picked up car on the arranged date and time with check in hand for the amount quoted.

Was quoted $150 dollars but one week later when pick up was requested the price went down to $100 dollars. Prevailing scrap price was the given reason.

A one third cut in one week ?

Really great experience. I had a phone call back within 20 minutes. Gave me a great price for my old car with a blown transmission. Had their tower come and get it the next day with a check in hand. Really nice people to work with as well. Thank you!

I have a 98 Dodge Neon with a busted water pump. When I got my quote I was told they only had one tower servicing the Crestviee area and since it would be a free tow away (they offer free tow it's not a like they gave me something) they wouldn't give me any money for my car.



We all know you can get at least $50 just for my lights and random scrap not to mention my like new tires.



Couldn't have even insulted me with a $30 offer. I got a $0 offer. I took my business to AA Auto Salvage and was offered $187. Done deal.



This place is a low baller beyond low. Don't waste your time with them.
