Family and like-family people in this business. Small, intimate, packed with the widest possible range of everything and anything Judaica. Outraegeous selection of books and reference works - sold individually, and in multi-volume sets. The place to start shopping if you are Jewish, or if you are gentile and want only the most authentic, pure kosher, orthodox, items, authors, reference works, and religious items. Rabbi Hecht and his wife and Hashem's own people; his son, the younger Rabbi Hecht, was commissioned by the NYC Board of Rabbis to create and post the official Jewish menorah posted at the World Trade Center disaster site following 9/11. What does that tell you about these people and this business? Use a little moxie . . . and while you're in that part of the city, plan on eating glot kosher at any of the outstanding, genuine kosher restaurants in this Labavicher neighborhood. Shalom!
