Do not hesitate hiring great movers. I contacted them almost at the last minute and they offered me a rate which was in my budget range. Team was professional quick and made sure everything was assembled at destination. They did the job pretty fast too. Recommended!

Found these guys from internet and I was over whelmed by the kind of moving service they offered. Generally mover's hardly care about your belongings and they bang every piece of equipment, wherever they can but Kevin's crew was very careful and very friendly to work with. Every thing went great about my move, from estimate till drop off and unpacking. I recommend great movers to you if you are looking to find a reliable moving company in New York

I hired these guys off Craigslist for a last minute move from a 1 bedroom with a loft into a storage unit. They were awesome. Had everything packed and ready to go in about an hour and a half and I was absolutely amazed at how efficiently they got everything into the storage room. I will definitely use them again to move me out of storage.

Great Movers did a phenomenal and unbelievably quick job of moving my roommate and I out of a fifth floor walk up! They were very careful with our items and had extra equipment for added padding, coverage, and consolidation. I imagined the move taking a minimum of 5 hours but they had incredible work ethic and speed keeping us under 3 hours for the entire move. We highly recommend them and will be calling them for any future moves. Best dollars I ever spent in New York!

Highly recommended!! These guys came within less than an hour's notice and were organized and professional. They adeptly organized the move of my 1 BR apartment with its large furnuture; while carefully avoiding damage to walls and the furniture itself. They also were effective with difficult building staff as well as the disassembly of furniture and removal of doors as needed. They came with 4 guys, worked quickly and charged exactly what was quoted - which was lower than others. I would definitely use these guys again and recommend them to others.

Had a wonderful moving experience with NY Great movers this past weekend. They showed up a little early, moved quickly and had me in my new place in no time. One of the easiest moves I have had in NYC, which is saying something. Would recommend to anyone looking for a solid moving company and a local business.

NY Great Movers are fantastic. I was looking to move my stuff two blocks (only!!) in the city and thank goodness I found them!!

Movers such as Seaman, Rob and a few others gave exorbitant quotes of over $800. Seaman said the move cannot be done in less than 5 hours and quoted ~$900 for moving a ONE bedroom apt stuff TWO blocks!!



Anyway, Kevin was super professional and courteous and took care of everything. Danny and his team were also very courteous, pleasant and extremely efficient. They came on time, and before I could blink, had all my furniture packed, ready to go. The move was done in ~3 hours. It would have taken less time if they didn't have to wait for 45 min for the elevator to become available!

All my stuff was in perfect condition. They checked with me where to put my furniture in the new apt and they made my move so so much easier. I did not have to lift a finger. Including the movers' insurance etc, it was only ~$550!!

I will most definitely go to Great Movers the next time I have to move. Their prices are low and service, absolutely impeccable.

have used Great Movers 3 times now and have found them to be prompt, professional, polite, thorough, and quick! Very accommodating schedule-wise and the estimate provided has always been fairly accurate and very reasonable. They took good care of my belongings, wrapping mattresses in plastic and other furniture in moving blankets, and had supplies for all the little odds and ends i wasn't sure how to pack. They even took apart the modular furniture and reassembled it upon arrival! What would have taken me hours or days seemed to take them no time at all. I always recommend Great Movers to anyone moving in NY or NJ. Once again, thank you guys for a smooth transition to my new place.
