Grand Street Rec is awesome! I recently had a session there and was blown away by the awesome gear and great staff



The live room and iso booth sounded great for everything we did …drums, electrics, acoustics, vocals etc. The drum sound they get out of that room is killer! oh and the options for drums are wild…they have something like 30 snare drums.



And for the engineers and producers out there, the control room is one of the best sounding I've used. Very flat sounding room. And the rest of the gear…wow. Killer U47 and U67…km54, km84s, RCAs, Coles, C37, Royer. and plenty of Neves and APIs to go around..1176s, LA3As, Distressors..



Ken (the owner/producer/engineer) is also a great musician and he was able to help us when we hit a roadblock. highly productive. No time wasted.



Nothing feels clinical or corporate about this space like so many other studios I've worked at.Good vibes all around. Grand Street is one of my fav studios! I will be doing my next project there.
