I visited Gloria at 987 Nostrand Ave Brooklyn, NY 11225 today, Saturday, January 24, 2015 5:30 pm. I ordered a curry goat dinner to go and the order was accepted by the cashier who took the order. Later, the same cashier told me that the curry goat is not available for dinner only for when you order a roti. There is no sign to inform the customer of such a process. In addition, there is only one hand written menu affixed to counter and does not display the available sides and a menu is not posted in any other place in the restaurant.

The cashier touched the appliances with one hand gloved and the other hand ungloved. She later prepare the order without changing the glove and putting a glove on the other hand.. She also handled the cash register as well. In the same manner

This was the same cashier , a few year ago, took my $20.00, and told me it was $ 5.00.This occurred twice. I wrote into the restaurant and about the thievery. I stopped going there for 2 years until today my elderly aunt wanted something from there,

My assessment this lady is dishonest and has cheated me in the past, now a receipt is given but you have to be aware what money you tender, the service is horrible, and takes your order, accepts the order and later tells you that she does not have what you order and tells you have to chose something different. I ended up with the Oxtail which was dry and uneatable. I ordered callaloo which she initially said that she had later she said none was available

I am Indian, I am Basically from Mumbai ,india and I regularly have Indian food outside. I've been to other Indian restaurants in the area and had a decent experience ,I wanted the best Indian food for my Birthday because my Friends are from India and we picked in this Indian Restaurant in down town because we have tried many Indian restaurants and we found this restaurant to be the best amongst the lot. The on site tandoor with exceptional decoration. When we went to the restaurant to settle the bill we were asked to share our experience with others and I thought of writting on the net. I can not thank anymore when I told the owners to give special attantion because I want my all friends to be impressed and they were really impressed and I am glad we picked this indian restaurant to cater the birthday.The customer service was great and Offcourse India is Great Than That of Other Countries.I am very proud to be an Indian.REGARDS - Ashish Pandey ( Mumbai, India )
