REAL CON
1. Will Rip you off - he uses cheap material for bridges and crowns. Be very careful. If you get irritation inside your mouth after his dental work it's happening because he used instead for example ceramic crown some cheap "plastic" ones which can be toxic for whole your body. Very low quality materials!
2. "he will Give you discount" (his tricky part)! He will give you cheap material that is your discount
3. Also will bill your insurance for the things he has never done for you

Long time patient of Dr. Gelfand. I recently needed a retreat root canal. Was referred to an Endodontist. Upon examination I was so uncomfortable I ran back to Dr. Gelfand.
I begged him to do the extensive work. He took care of me right away.
Bottom line is, he always takes care of my 3 daughters and I with the most professional care!!

I have been a patient at this office for a few years now, and I have never been disappointed. My regular cleaning visits are always great, the hygienists are fantastic and I find the cleanings painless even though I have had problems with sensitivity in the past. All the major work I have had done by Dr. Irlin and Dr. Gelfand has been amazing and I have received countless compliments from friends and family. I would recommend this office to everyone. Fantastic, kind, knowledgeable staff, and bright comfortable office atmosphere. They even give out origami cranes to their patients. The kids love it. Now that's just the cherry on top!

To see Dr. Irlin is a pure pleasure, regardless of the procedure being done or how many shots I need to get me numb it's painless. I started my 1st implant 4 years ago and with Dr. Irlin's expertise I now have the confidence I lacked before I met him. I trust this man with his eyes closed. Book your appointment ASAP to avoid the wait!

Ive been going to Family Smile Dental for many years and have never had a bad experience. The doctors are knowledgable and accurate. Have always been able to accomodate last minute requests and emergencies. Office is nice and clean as well. Referred many friends here and haven't had any issues. Would recommend

Stay away from this moneymaking Russian machine. All 3 drs are recent college graduates who just decided to make money on other immigrants, and none of them is a real pro. They keep sending patients to each other to cover up their constant screw ups. All the people I sent to their office in those 5 years ran away after a few bad experiences. None of my referrals stayed with them for more than one or two teeth. I went to other offices for 2nd and 3rd opinions and was shocked when was told what cheap materials and bad quality job was done at Family Smile. I was seeing all three doctors (two Mikhails and Anna) there for a few teeth by a family referral for a few years. My fillings were constantly falling out, I had to redo them almost every year, I had to come back a few times to fix them and set the crowns correctly, after the cleaning I always had some new problems with my teeth. Last fall when I came with a sharp pain emergency to the office, Anna Suler sent me to another office to extract the wisdom tooth that was already extracted 5 years before that. Thanks G I went to the same office I used to extract my wisdom teeth and they told me that there was no wisdom tooth there according to my file. What if I would go to another office? Anna called me a few hours after the office visit and said she was wrong that it was a wisdom tooth that bothered me and suggested seeing her partner, Mikhail Irlin who did not have any openings for two weeks!!! Of course I had to go to another office and find out all the truth about the jobs done at Smile Dental. I had to redo a few root canals and crowns screwed up by Smile dental in those few years. They were screwing up my teeth by piling fillings one on top of another, putting crowns on teeth without doing root canals, and making more fillings on my front teeth, CONSTANTLY OFFERING me Implants and whitening services that definitely make a fortune for their business. Meanwhile I have heard of a few people who did implants there and were not happy. Finally, one of the crowns that they did only 4 years ago had a problem, was not covered by insurance yet for renewal, and I had to go back to Smile D to redo what they did wrong. When Mikhail Irlin did filling on a painful tooth that actually required a root canal job and made me suffer for 3 weeks saying that it might go away in 6 weeks, after a sleepless night of sharp pain I called the office and was not assisted properly. I had to go to another office on an emergency call and do root canal there. When Mikhail fixed the crown, instead of apologizing for the past mishaps, he had enough balls to tell me that their office is not going to provide any services to me and they are giving me 30 days to find another doctor. THIS IS JUST RIDICULOUS how unprofessional this office is. How could he still not realize that I found another doctor a while ago and had to come back to him just because another doctor did not want to cover up his sheet and insurance would never cover it. Otherwise I would never step into that office again. So, continue cleaning up after each other, partners in crime.. They keep opening new offices and work only a few hours in each of the 3 offices because patients just don't stay.

Have gone to the Doctors at Family Smile a few times now... Dr. Suler is a great doctor. Always very pleasant and professional. Very highly recomended. Fred

This place is definitely where you need to go. I don't know how they do it, but I've never met a less painful needle in my life. Plus, who can resist watching TV while they're working on you.
