We enjoy shopping at Fairway because it is clean and located in a scenic location of Brooklyn. There is a large selection of foods, both kosher and non kosher - including cooked take out food. You can sit outside in the back and eat lunch when done shopping and enjoy the views of lower Manhattan as this store is located on the bay. It is a little tricky driving there, but well worth the ride.

As a native new yorker, having shopped in every borough starting from "First National" queens to"Gristedes" in Manhattan. And having worked in supermarkets, I found this store incredible. I was only dissapointed that there were no asparagus. But wow the deli and the fish departments, and the hot food !! Glad your in brooklyn where I live now.
