Dr. Chan is awesome. Fantastic bedside manner; Dr. Chan is laid back, polite, refined and extremely knowledgeable and educating. He really takes the time to share with you his findings and to educate you about your eyes. I originally did not know what to expect with this shop being so far embedded into Brooklyn as many of the old neighborhood style eye glass shops have dated and cheap frames that often cater to the immediate local demand. I was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful modern shop with some very nice (albeit somewhat limited due to space) frames with decent price points. For those attempting to stay in the Manhattan-y, Williamsburg-y type of upper middle class (read Caucasian transplant) bubble, you may not want to venture so deep into the borough as the highly ethnic, Brooklyn-gritty neighborhood of Bensonhurst. But for those that love traveling the borough and enjoy the gritty non-yuppified areas as I do, I highly highly recommend this shop. The staff are also incredibly accommodating, a very proudly Chinese institution; you do not feel an iota of condescension nor coldness in the slightest. Unequivocally recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant and stylish experience.
