I would like to warn people who being customers of this Duane Reade Pharmacy, located at 5423 Second Ave, in Brooklyn, NY. I leave near buy that store and time to time come to buy some hygiene products, but newer use pharmacy department. I always use another neborhood pharmacy, but with my age it is become more difficult to go there. Duane Reade was much closer. I asked my neighbors if they know anything about pharmacy, they advise me that store is OK, but they would not advice to use pharmacy, because pharmacist is a very rood woman. I was a bit skeptical and went to the store to get an advice on some medicine over the counter. I went to the store and asked woman behind the pharmacy counter who introduced herself as pharmacist “Larisa”, to help me to find some information regarding medicine. She turns to me with very angry face, saying that if I cannot read directions on the bottle, I should go back to school, but same people like you(she probably meant color of my skin) will never understand anything. She complained that she has no time for this nonsense, because her Company made her work very hard and she have no free time for this. I was shocked by her attitude and left the store. I will never go again to this store or any Duane Reade. Alicia K
