Dr. Gregory Birch graduated Wagner College Staten Island, NY with a BS in Chemistry. He then went on to get his degree in Podiatric Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Following medical school he completed 2 years of a medical surgical preceptorship. He is Board Certified by The American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry- Primary Care in Podiatric Medicine and holds affiliations with The Staten Island University Hospital North Shore L.I.J. He began private practice in Brooklyn New york in 1981 and soon began practice in Staten Island New york were he was joined by his brother Dr Andrew Birch. His philosophy on practice has always been to first put the patients fears aside by explaining to the patient what their problem is and the steps that it will take to help them. Taking the time to answer patients questions and make sure they understand is always an integral part of his treatment plan.
