Had several different mechanics try to diagnose my transmission problem to no avail--- Dolphin found the problem promptly -- and it wasn't even the transmission!!! They wouldn't take any money because it wasn't anything they could fix even though they put time and manpower into finding the problem. Very professional and well run shop-- I would recommend them to anybody looking for transmission diagnosis and repair. I couldn't thank them enough-- they saved me thousands!!

My transmission was replaced by Dolphin's in September 2016 There were some quirks with the initial installation in which another transmission had to replaced after the first one was replaced because of a deficiency from the manufacturer. Dolphins immediately came to my home and towed my car back to their garage and within another week my transmission was repaired and their was absolutely no problems with my car since. The staff is very kind and they care about there customers and also, they protect there customer's with a one year warranty which is great considering what other repair shops are not offering. I was picked up at my home when my car was ready and if that isn't service i don't know what is. I decided to write my review at this late date because i wanted to be completely accurate with my experience so other customers could feel confident that they are in good hands with Dolphins.

First let me say, tks to richie & staff for the way they took thier time to explain what repairs needed to be worked on and i am so happy with the results. After a whole year taking the ford escape to several other "so called" transmisson shops and thousands of dollars later i am relieved. I will recomend dolphin transmisson to all my family and friends. Tks again fellas.....

After getting a $2,600 estimated repair bill for transmission fixes for my 2000 Passat from the dealership, I decided to try Dolphin Transmission. They diagnosed a water leak which was causing my transmission control sensor to malfunction. They fixed the water leak, dried the transmission control sensor and saved me over $2,300. Separately, the VW dealership quoted $1,500 to replace my timing belt. The crew replaced the timing belt and other parts for much less. Friendly, honest, and competent service.

I love going to Dolphin because they make everything so easy. Work is always done to accommodate your schedule and pocketbook, without sacrificing quality. I felt confident in having them rebuild my transmission, and have no regrets about going there. Definitely the best transmission repair in Brooklyn.

For a girl who doesn't know much about cars, I appreciated them taking the time to explain everything to me, so I would understand. They were so friendly and kind. Thank you.

I brought my 2001 Toyota 4-Runner to Dolphin Transmissions after another transmission shop messed it up. My A/T temp light was on for 2 years and nobody could fix it. Dolphin fixed the problem in 2 days and my car has never worked better. Thank you Dolphin!!!
