They were wonderfully responsive all the way from giving their estimate to confirming the move-in date,
provided lots of useful tips, and were both thorough and extremely pleasant throughout the whole process.
They even brought a welcoming plant when they were done! I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

This was an ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE!! STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!!

I question the credibility of many of the reviews on this site as I can't imagine how they would rate this moving company favorably.

The movers were rude, lazy, unprofessional and treated my belongs without any care. I signed up for Yellow Pages specifically to write this review in effort to prevent anyone else from falling into the same trap I did. The movers yelled at me on several occasions, damaged my belongings, left my stuff unattended (I was not aware) on a NYC sidewalk for an extended period of time, ordered me around and asked me to sit in their van while they moved so they didn't get a ticket (when I said I would prefer not to because I wasn't feeling well they gave me an attitude). I tried to deal with the management office, but they failed to respond to my email - since they have their money I'm sure they can care less. I've used a number of movers in NYC before, Moishes, Morris Moving, Shleppers and had great experiences with all of them. I tried City Express Moving because they were cheap, but boy was that a bad mistake. I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

What really impressed me and why I give them a 5 star review is that, we didn't have to pack anything in her old townhouse, or when we got to her to the new apartment in Brooklyn. The guys packed and unpacked everything for us! Most of the other companies I called did not offer this service or if they did, it was way too expensive for us.
I have moved 5 times in the last 5 years and nearly a dozen times in my life.
These guys were the best by far.

I hired City express Movers who I was told were the best NYC movers.
I was up on the 6th floor walkup.. and I had some pretty big furniture but this professional crew made it all look easy.
They worked in perfect synchronization. smooth moving process in which they packed all my belongings and I just sit and see them and quick and professional they were!
I give this company a 5 star rating and I may recommend them to invest more money in advertising their great service!

The move into the house was fairly straight forward. Quick work, no complaints.
o hard-working, hands on, and amazingly helpful! They helped take apart the furniture, wrap it appropriately, and they even re-assembled it once we got over to the new place! I didn't have to lift a finger! The company also provides wardrobe boxes, which are amazingly helpful. THANK YOU CITY FOR SIMPLY A GREAT MOVE!

Great moving company. Probably one of the most flawless moves I've ever had.
They arrived 20 minutes early, and had everything moved in under 4 hours.
