Sent me promo-- OPEN a new account with direct deposit, get $100



Guy said all paperwork was good. One week later my check was deposited into old BANK.



I go to Chase, guy said, "you have to fill out direct deposit paperwork with YOUR BOSS. I couldn't do it"



PLUS, Since I NOW didn't have minimum amount of money in CHASE account, they charged monthly $10 fee and because I had NO money in account, because I opened account with DIRECT DEPOSIT, they charged an OVERDRAFT FEE (like $25 or $35) on their OWN $10 fee.



Oh, and I was told if I deposited ANY money into account:

1) I would not get $100 promo because money needed to be deposited when I opened account



2) I would not have access to it for 5-10 days because it was new account.

(which was fine, cause I didn't need to pay bills, get food, etc)



I'm giving 1 star because Manager waived fees and let me close account.

Great customer service, will visit again. :-0
