Located in the Midwood neighborhood of Brooklyn, BBC is the only private free standing birthing facility in the New York metro area. We offer high-quality, family-centered care, allowing low-risk patients to give birth in a calm, home-like environment. The board-certified midwives at BBC are very experienced (many have been practicing for decades), and are deeply committed to supporting and empowering patients and their families.Our midwives also have privileges at Maimonides Medical Center, which means they can manage deliveries and catch babies in the hospital. Clients who require hospital births can still receive care at BBC and deliver with our midwives. We also offer routine GYN care, including annual exams and family planning.
