Last week, I took my new German shepherd pup to see the doctor. We just moved into the neighborhood and I thought let’s give it a try. I also figured, I could always drive to another vet if the experience was not what as I expected. I was a little early, so I got a chance to watch the comings and goings of the office. I watched as the staff (receptionist and Technician) interacts with the animals and humans. They were pleasant and considerate of people’s time and pets. The vet herself was knowledgeable and thoughtful about my dog and the plans for her future. I have always had animals, I have been to other offices that where nicer ( the space could use some work), that had new fancier equipment ( they could upgrade some of the equipment), but as far as knowledge goes and treatment of my animal, they were up there with doctors that cost twice as much.

I took my 3 month old puppy to this place for his first and second set of shots. The service was exceptional, I didn't have to wait long once I got there, i find the prices reasonable and the service was good - no complaints. I would recommend them if you need to find a vet in the area.

The service was wonderful and informative. I always learn something new to improve my skill as a pet owner every time I come here for a monthly visit with my dogs. Thanks guys!

Took our new dog there this weekend and I must say that I was truly pleased. From the girl at the front desk to the Vet Dr. Pruden,to the vet tech Winston. I have found a clean, professional and caring vet for our new family member.

I wish I found this place sooner. 2 weeks ago my cat was not eating and when i went near him he started growling. I knew something was very wrong. I called the emergency clinic and just to be seen my the vet is $97.00. I called Hope Vet and the nasty woman on the phone told me that I could come in but I would have to pay for the visit before I even walked through the door. I called the Bedford Stuyvesant Clinic. I didn't know at the time I was speaking to the doctor but she told me "Come as soon as you can". She was so sweet and was really good to my cat.

"Where do I begin? Dr. Pruden and her staff are very welcoming!! I love bringing my dog, Yogi, whenever he needs the vet's attention. Dr. Pruden addresses your concerns and gives plenty of good, practical advice. She does not make you feel like a bad owner in any way. When you come here do not expect it to be a spa for your pets. I must admit, the place can use a slight makeover, but the service that is provided to your four-legged loved one is not compromised in any way. They also provide boarding services that I haven't tried yet. Oh, and if you show proof that you're a city worker, you get a 10% discount every visit. Love this clinic!!!

So I've taken my dog Milo here pretty regularly for his annual exam, shots, boarding, etc. Never had a problem with the staff or service provided to me and Milo. He has been fine under their care and despite my move overseas, I still plan to keep Bed-Stuy Vet Clinic as his main vet whenever we're back in NYC."
