I hate going to the dentist but when my friend recommended Dr. Selzer, my feelings totally changed. He was so professional and friendly. He explained everything that I needed and was so nice. He made me feel so comfortable.

Extremely disappointed in this dentist. I came in with pain in one of my molars and Dr. Selzer said the x-rays showed it was so rotted that it had to be pulled. I was shocked since I never felt any kind of even discomfort so I told him not to pull it yet, just to prescribe something for the swelling. He said to come back in three days and he'll pull the tooth but I decided to see another dentist instead. The new dentist said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the tooth. It is now about a year and half later and the tooth is still fine..no pain or discomfort whatsoever. I'm so angry that had I let him pull the molar, I would have lost the tooth and not even know that there was nothing wrong with it. Dr. Selzer had said at the time don't worry about losing the molar, he'll just give me a transplant. Not sure if this is how they are making money by 'fixing' something that wasn't broken but my advice is to be careful and get a second opinion before letting him pull any of your teeth.
