Anyone who rated this firm a positive review is either a robot or they work there. Their attitudes are disgusting and the manager smells like he showers 1x a week. Fat, sloppy, and unprofessional. Once you pay them their money, its like pulling teeth to get an update. I cant stress enough, DO NOT USE THEM. You will waste your money on a simple eviction case. We had a case, the only 1 they allowed me to show up for (the rest they gave me the incorrect time), and they scrambled 15 minutues prior to the time to find an attorney. 5,000 stacks of paper yet the didnt even have an obligation of motion that the judge needed to proceed forward. They were going to ADJOURN my case to a further date if I wasn't present. Fired them that same day.

For my personal experience as a tenant, stay away. I hired them for a holder case, it was like they were working for my tenant. I cut my loses and left. I rehired an other attorney and the tenant was evicted.

For Non English speaking people, stay away from this money-trapped office. All the negative reviews are telling truth

Once again, the wife has to help the husband to help his boss. With out names there is a Warehouse in E. New York Brooklyn, that is privately owned. Part of this facility was leased with a lease to a sub-tenant who was suppose to be out this past Monday the 4th. The owner lost his cool, and was ready to well you know. ( I'can't type the rest.) I found Robert, on a Saturday, and he answered his cell rightway. Brooklyn based willing to travel to see client on Monday. For both of them it seemed like a good fit. Monday meeting, and formal paperwork to be filled. Unless having an attorney present makes this other sub-tenant move. Didn't ask anything about fees; but I do see there is a special on yelp. on the phone, and I hate to assume but all will be dealt with Monday. I think a new business connection for two Brooklyn born business men.will go well. I'm hoping to refer him to my cousin also in Brooklyn, who maybe having landlord /tenant issues down the line.

I am a tenant. I was served with Landlord Tenant Court papers. I was out a job and I did not have the money to pay the rent. My family was going to become homeless. A friend recommended that I hire this law firm. They only charged me a few hundred dollars. They got me a 8 month payout to pay all the back rent. I got a job and I made all the payments. My family is still in our apartment thanks to the great lawyers at this firm. I would highly recommend them for Tenants Rights!!

I am a landlord and I also rent an apartment in New York City. I have used this firm many times in the past when my tenants did not pay their rent and I always found their legal services to be outstanding. When my lease expired in the apartment I rented, my landlord brought an eviction proceeding in Landlord Tenant Court against me. The landlord wanted me to move out in 2 months so that he could get a higher paying tenant into my apartment. I called Mr. Rosenblatt and asked him to represent me on this matter. The lawyers got me 9 months to move from my apartment. They are GREAT and I am grateful that they are my lawyers!

I am a relatively small landlord, owning several units throughout NYC, but mostly in Brooklyn. I don't normally comment on these sites, but after the excellent services I received by Mr. Rosenblatt during my eviction case, I felt I just had to say something on his behalf. I had been living in the same building for ten years, and my landlord decided he wanted me out. The landlord brought me to court and tried to intimidate me into moving. I was scared but I knew I needed a lawyer. I met one of Mr. Rosenblatt's associates in court, who walked me back to their office for a consultation. Mr. Rosenblatt jumped at the opportunity to meet me, and finished my paperwork before our meeting was over! He said he could get me a great deal, but my landlord has been so mean, I didnt think I had a chance. I was served with eviction papers. I went to Court without a lawyer and I saw that the landlord's attorney was trying to give me a bunch of BS and he tried to force me to sign an agreement to move out within a month. I almost signed the agreement. Then I asked the Judge if I could have the time to get a lawyer. The Judge was cool with me and gave me an adjournment. Then I found these guys online. I went and hired them. They found out that the landlord had violated the certificate of occupancy by renting a two family house to three different tenants. They told me that the landlord can not collect any rent because of the illegal apartment. They got me 5 months RENT FREE. I was shocked because I was ready to move in a month. In the 5 free months that I got, I was able to save a lot of money and I now have a great apartment. They are great lawyers for tenants rights. They fought with the landlord's lawyer and they got me a great deal. I paid them a few hundred dollars and they got me thousands of dollars in free rent! They are great lawyers!

The landlord started a non payment proceeding and I had a judgment entered against me on default. I hired this firm to get an Order to Show Cause. They charged me $450.00. The Warrant of Eviction was vacated and the Judge gave me my Trial in Landlord Tenant Court. After the Trial, the Judge gave me a rent abatement of $1,750.00 off of my rent based upon the landlord breaching the warranty of habitability. They got me a reduction in rent and they had all my repairs completed within 2 weeks. (I was waiting almost a year to have them done)



I am very satisfied with this law firm and I would recommend them to any tenant who needs an excellent attorney at a reasonable fee.
