I went to see this dentist at Afam about 3 weeks ago,the dentist told me my teeth were perfect my experience was horrible, soon after my teeth started giving problems like severe pain and one in particular looks protruded and spaced out. When I got home I cried liked a baby after seeing my teeth. I was lucky I never had any problems with my teeth before. I went in for a cleaning as I do every six months, because my regular dentist takes forever to give me an appointment I went to Afam. While in the chair I find he was taking to long on that tooth my instinct told me to run I should have listened .When I showed my family, friends and boyfriend my teeth my boyfriend were in shock how it looked. My boyfriend knew how my teeth looked before. This dentist never told me I needed work done he said my teeth were good. A few days later got a letter from my insurance about a request made by this dentist to perform surgery on my mouth. I called the insurance and asked them about the letter, I told the insurance the dentist told me quite the opposite that my teeth was fine. They request was for about $7000 worth of surgery. Some one called me from the office and told me the surgery was approved I told her no thanks cancel it She was insisting that I come in another day and have it done. I said no I will not be coming it .At this point I was done with them. The dentist personally called me soon after and told me he would come on his day off just for me, yeah right for the $7000. How come this dentist never discussed with me that I needed work done went behind my back to the insurance company made a request to do dental surgery on my mouth. Only found out after the insurance sent me a copy of the request. In total I received over a dozen phone calls and messages from this dentist and his staff. I told the girl at the front desk am not coming in. In return she had the dentist personally call me and ask me if am outside to come right now it would only take 2 hours. They finally got the clue and stop calling me. That was my experience at Afam. All I know is I left home with straight teeth came home quite the opposite. Try and Google dentist that damage peoples teeth on purpose to get them to come back.

I had to get a few dental fillings done so after getting a referral from my good friend I visited AFAM Dental. I must admit that everyone here is super nice and extremely helpful. I strongly recommend AFAM Dental to all as they surely make visiting a dentist less terrible experience.
