These are some of the nicest people in Gowanus. I needed two eggs to bake a banana bread, and the smallest amount I could find was a dozen. I asked if they could possibly sell me two, and they fetched them out of their cooking supply! They charged next to nothing for them, and the eggs must have been fine, because the banana bread was amazing!

They know where everything is, and are glad to help you find what you need. You can find most everything for last minute ingredients, and their dignified orange cat lends the place an air of distinction.

The best thing about this bodega is its friendliness.
