Located in Brookline, Mass., Ivy Street School provides comprehensive educational and treatment services to children suffering from neurological difficulties. The school teaches algebra, science, money management, budgeting, laundry, community mobility, hygiene and cooking. Ivy Street School offers neuropsychological assessment, cognitive remediation, neurobehavioral management, outreach and consultative services. It provides various therapies, including physical, occupational and speech therapies. The school also offers individual and group psychotherapy, including expressive arts, dialectical behavior therapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. It provides supported employment services and vocational instruction for its students. Additionally, the school offers instructions on sexuality, health, and life, community and social skills.
