Parkside Elementary School serves more than 275 students in kindergarten through grade five. It imparts reading skills to elementary-grade students through phonics instruction. Parkside Elementary School also conducts classes in art, music, physical education, library skills, science and computer applications. The school has a library and media center that provides a variety of resources, such as books, journals, magazines and Internet access. It operates fine arts, computer applications, and health and physical education departments. Parkside Elementary School has a staff that includes a psychologist, speech pathologist, and physical and occupational therapists. Located in Parkside, Pa., the school is a governed by the Penn-Delco School District.
