Zachow and Sons Plumbing was recommended to us by a friend in the area. However, we were extremely disappointed. To sum up our horrible experience we made two appointments. They were a NO SHOW, NO APOLOGY the first time, and "FORGOT ALL OF THEIR TOOLS" the second time.

We found a leak from our shower to the basement through the ceiling. Concerned about water damage, we wanted to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. I called to explain the problem and was able to make an appointment for the next week at 8am. Well the morning of the appointment came and time ticked by. Finally, at 10:30, I called to see where their service man was. After being put on hold and transferred to different people, Randy, one of the owners, picked up and simply said, "Oh yea, we're not coming today. Something came up. Let's reschedule." There was NO apology or even a tone that he made a mistake. Even though I already had taken half of a day of work OFF so I could be home for this to get fixed, AND we still had water leaking from our ceiling, I decided to give him a second chance since they were highly recommended. I do understand we are all people and we make mistakes. However, they weren't able to come back out for the next 10 days! I expected some sort of speedy appointment since they were a no show the first time. Anyways, I made the appointment, took ANOTHER half day of work off, and crossed my fingers the problem would be resolved. Well the morning of the SECOND appointment came, and this time Randy actually showed up. BUT he didn't even bring his tools! He came in for 2 minutes, asked what the problem was and I explained (the same information I gave him on the phone). He never even turned the water on to see the leak himself, said he would need to tear out my closet wall to see what the problem was (even though there was already a utility and plumbing access door in the closet). But here's the punch line, he didn't even bring his tools with him to fix the problem today so he would need to call back to make an appointment with his tools in 2 weeks. He came, left, and WAS NEVER INVITED BACK! I took 2 half days off of work, waited for 3 weeks, and still have no answers!

So, today IHN plumbing in the Milwaukee area made a visit. I would high recommend them! They diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes, had all of the replacement parts in their van, made the repairs and left in one visit! Oh and by the way, there was no need to make holes in my closet wall!
