My company leased an Audi A4 from Doering for 4 years and we trusted the service to them because they arranged pick-up and return conveniently. The car was taken to the official Audi dealership in hopes that it would get the best service in order to avoid any issues.

The car went well so we decided to buy it out in 2015. Right after that it started to have problems so we asked the dealership to print the service record for us, so we could decide what needed to be done to get it back in shape. They refused to print it as the car did not belong before, so we needed Doering’s authorization.

Here is when our unpleasant experience starts, as Doering starting giving us excuses for not doing it, like that the dealership told them it could not be printed, that when printing it would show personal details of the previous owner or just not returning our calls. The dealership told us that the information could be easily printed without any issue or any personal details.

I.e. when asked about the last date the cabin filter was replaced, Doering indicated a recent date (they billed us for it), however the dealership indicated that no such replacement took place. The actual filter on the car was filthy and dated from 2006, when the car was built, so it was evident that it had never been replaced.
It turns out Audi only changed Oil and Filter when my car was brought it (90usd worth) following Doering's instructions, while we were being charged for a full service and paying 280usd. When confronted, Doering claimed we asked only for an oil change (and apparently we were ok with paying 3x the Audi price), but they still said they did change the cabin filter.

We kept trying to get the service record for over a year from Doering so we could forget about this story, but the owner started pretending to be offended by our (fair) request, so we are finally giving up.

We are deeply disappointed by the service received since this started, and will never do business with Doering again.
