1. Customer service at this company is TERRIBLE. At main office its horrible, to the point of aggressive attack against the customer. They don't understand the concept of "customer service" at all. At the actual location its half way decent, at best.



2. They don't tell you this when you sign up: To access your storage unit, there must be an elevator operator that takes you up and down. The operator takes a 1hr lunch break. So for at least 1hr there is no one to give you access to your unit. Further more, you will have to wait upstairs, once you are ready to go to street level, to be picked up by the elevator operator, who may be busy with other people, on his lunch break, or with other duties he may have at the location. I have been trapped upstairs for long periods of time due to this horrible mismanagement of employee's time and duties.



3. There is no on-site parking for your vehicle. There are two spots at the loading dock. So, if you show up with your car, the spots may or may not be available. Then you have the choice of waiting around for a spot to open up, or park in the street with all its common nyc hassles, like alternate parking signs, availability, potential theft or vandalism, etc. Basically, its a unsafe and unreliable parking situation. Because even when you do get one of the two spots at the loading dock, it is open to the street, and if you walk away from the car to go to your unit, you are leaving the car unattended at your own risk down there.



4. The storage units themselves are not as secure as you would want them to be. The ceilings are a thin mesh wire that can easily be cut. And any thief could crawl over the walls from one unit to another, if they really wanted to.



5. There are no security cameras in the hallways where the units are. So, there is a potential for bad stuff to happen at the units. Although there are cameras at the elevator waiting areas and the loading dock.



6. We can't prove it, but we believe there are mice or rats that get into our boxes inside our unit.



7. They are only open during regular business hours. No access in the evenings or at night. So for people who have regular 9 to 5 work hours, their only time to access the unit would be on the weekends.



Overall, there are too many inconveniences, at too high of a price, with too bad of a customer service to give this company any of your business. I would not recommend this storage location to anyone, or the company as a whole. They act like the customer is doing them a favor buy doing business with them. Stay away from this company if you have other options.
