My partner and I hired Simply Moving to pack and move everything from one apartment to another about 5 blocks away earlier this year. All in all we incurred several thousands of dollars in damages, plus the cost of the move itself including charges for boxes we didn't use. After months of attempting to get so much as a refund for the empty boxes we were charged for Simply Moving has refused to even offer an apology for what happened.

They damaged or destroyed nearly all of our furniture. Including a solid wood dresser that will cost over $1000 to replace, a $1000 lamp that's irreparable, most of our dishes, artwork, the list goes on. They packed things so poorly that it was as if the movers had never done this before.

They charge you for every box and roll of paper, so packing empty boxes and then hoping you won't do anything about the extra charges when you realize must be their way of jacking up the price.

When we initially discovered the damaged items we immediately emailed Simply Moving about this and were asked about the type of third party insurance we purchased. Said it would be up to 3 weeks before we would even hear back from anyone.

Meanwhile, we continued unpacking and begin to find more and more damaged items that were clearly from negligent and careless handling.

Three months later and Simply Moving has refused to fairly compensate my partner and I for the thousands of dollars worth of furniture and irreplaceable artwork they willfully destroyed. They insist that dishes broken into shards are in "almost perfect condition", or that a lamp with the plug broken off is totally usable. As what? A doorstop?

They won't offer even so much as a refund for the empty boxes they fraudulently charged us for, or for the services we didn't receive.

The complete lack of customer care is offensive after paying so much for moving and packing services. There's just no need to be so careless as a business. Simply Moving just doesn't care.

Avoid Simply Moving.

Moving was never this easy or stress-free for me before. I had a couple of moves before and i hated each of them. I had movers who helped me throughout but simply movers are just amazing.

They are extremely professional, quick and friendly as well, They completed the whole move within the estimated time. They taped my already packed boxes more tightly. They loaded everything very carefully and the best part is inventory list. None of my previous movers offered me that. I would highly recommend them.

I and my husband needed to move from from the Long island to Manhattan. I was very nervous as i heard that long distance moves are the nasty ones. Things get broken but i am so happy from simply movers. They bubble wrapped the delicate stuff and organized everything perfectly. Nothing went missing or got broken. Thank you guys for making it so easy for me!

This was one of the best moves i had ever before. They packed everything for me and took everything in their hands. I have 3 kids and they are very naughty. I tried to keep them in one place during the move but kids are kids. John and Fred didn't complaint not even once. Very efficient and patient team. I'm very satisfied from their service.

I was moving out from a friend's place. As my routine is really tough even during the weekend, I needed someone to do everything for me. From packing to delivering everything on the destination as my presence during the move was impossible.I am very happy from simply mover's service. They did everything so professionally. I booked simply movers when i was moving to Brooklyn. I talked with john and he was extremely cooperative and friendly. Simply moving is a very professional moving company and they care of everything the client asks for.

I got nelson and Tony to carry out my move and they did an amazing job. They worked really hard to make it quick and were quite successful at it without damaging anything. They are good at what they do and i am totally satisfied from their moving service.

These guys are hardworking, efficient and professional movers. They arrived on time and started working. We had all sort of furniture and they didn't even complain once. From packing to unpacking and from loading to unloading, they did everything effortlessly. There were no hidden charges. Great customer service guys!

I couldn't be more thankful to simply moving company. I did my first long distance move with them last week and it was an amazing experience. I was worried a lot but they moment they arrived, they took care of everything. I literally set at the corner and watched them dealing with everything. They carefully packed and loaded everything. They also handed me over the inventory list. I am very satisfied from their work and i would suggest them to anyone who wants a less stressful move.

The crew could,t be more professional and cooperative during the whole process. They were all very friendly and efficient. I am little possessive about my stuff and have this habit of interfering a lot but they were so nice to me. My husband and i am not all good at moving. But thanks to these movers. They made this experience as easy as possible for us. They showed up on time, were very nice us and people from the main office stayed constantly in contact with us for check-ups. Great team and amazing work guys!

These men arrived on time which was quite surprising as my previous experiences never included punctuality. They immediately got to work and very carefully handled everything. From packing to unpacking, loading to unloading and in setting furniture,
they assisted me in every possible way. They are great people to work with. I would recommend them to everyone.

These people are professional, efficient, quick and of course motivated, they love what they do and it is clearly showed through their work. I hate moving but they made it a great experience for me, I won't be wrong if i say moving with simply movers was the best decision i made. They really are great people to work with.

First of all they arrived exactly at time (which made me really happy as i am very punctual). Then i just answered few for them and later on i sat in the lounge during the whole process and watch them taking care of all my things. They taped the boxes more securely (though i did it before) and put labels on them. After loading everything they also provided me with the inventory list. Their work is very professional. I am fully satisfied with their services
