P.S. 041 Gun Hill Road embraces cultural diversity and supports more than 850 students in becoming productive and responsible citizens. It serves students in kindergarten through grade five and offers a variety of instructional programs and enrichment activities. The school s sports programs feature track and field, basketball, football, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball and softball. P.S. 041 Gun Hill Road provides special programs related to early literacy, computer technology, genre studies and theater arts. It also organizes dance performances and seasonal multicultural shows. The school, with an area of more than 70,000 acres, has over 65 staff members. P.S. 041 Gun Hill Road is managed by The New York City Department of Education.
