Best dance studio ever! The teachers and director are so talented! My daughter is learning the art of dance and has had amazing opportunities to dance with some of the best choreographers In the business.

My daughter has danced w/ PEDA since she was 2 years old. Now turning 14 soon she cannot imagine her life w/out her home away from home. I have felt comfortable, happy & positive with all my experiences with the entire staff & teammates. We are a TEAM & FAMILY.

This is my daughters 5th year dancing at Performers Edge. I have to say it is an amazing studio. From day 1 they treated my daughter like family, from the teachers, the director, the staff, the dance moms and especially her P.E.D.A. sisters. Love it here. My granddaughter is turning 5 and in the fall I'm going to sign her up for dance.

My daughter has danced with performers edge for over 5 years. This is her second year as a company dancer and I cannot express how much she loves PEDA. She has danced with other schools and no place is as professional as Performers Edge Dance Academy. The instructors, director and staff are caring, friendly, nurturing and really make you and your child feel great from day one. The fellow parents are also their own community who support each which was refreshing during my first of company. I recommend this school to anyone looking for an exceptional dance environment.

My daughter has been a company dancer for 3 years and it's been a great experience. We travel 35 miles to get there and it is worth every minute. The staff is friendly & nurturing and made us feel welcomed from the start. The training is exceptional!! I I truly love being apart of this studio/family.

My son started at this dance school at 3 years old. A small summer class developed into a large 2nd family in 7 years. This is his 4th year in competition and he loves it.
Now my daughter is dancing here as well, it is her second year and she never wants to leave.
They are professional and my children always feel safe. But the best part is that the children learn to be confident in themselves and in their talents.

My daughter attended Performers edge for over 3 years until i pulled her out. Over the 3 years there were numerous mistakes with over billing, exorbitant charges for costumes, schedule changes with no warnings and just a general disregard for our time. The worst issue at Performers edge was the way the young girls in the company were treated, They are belittled, embarrassed and favorites picked. There were rivalry instigated by the owner and instructors. The first day I signed up my daughter to attend-- a students Mom attempted to punch the owner Stephanie in the face..... I should have payed attention. I decided to pull my daughter out but I understand how that when felt. I recommend you spend your money else where at a dance academy that nurtures young women not makes them feel bad about themselves.

Performers Edge has been part of my life for many years having my two girls dance there. The staff is wonderful and the education my both daughters receive has been excellent. If anyone writes a negative review about this dance studio it can be two things, either a hater or just a very unhappy person in life.

Well after reading the last review I have to disagree about the company kids remark. All company kids began as main stream students taking one class a week. There are no teenagers teaching classes only qualified and trained teachers. As for you leaving frustrated you could have addressed these issues with the teacher or the office. At times there are older students helping the teachers when there is a large amount of students... However distraction is not encouraged at this studio nor is it tolerated... It would have been better contacting the owner rather than posting a bad review. Performers edge has over 400 mainstream students that we want to leave each class satisfied.

Hello, I am a Mom of a seven year old that loves to dance. I recently moved to Throgs Neck so all the dance schools in the neighborhood were new to me. At my daughters school the parents speak very highly of this school but like I had mentioned all the schools were new to me. So I went to check out a different school down Tremont first only because it was convenient. When I arrived there to my surprise there were students teaching the classes. Anyway I gave it the benefit of the doubt and watched the class. That was not what turned me towards Performers Edge it was the negative talk from the other parents that stood outside that school. I was honest telling them I am checking out both schools and was told all negative things about Performers Edge. So of course I became curious and had to visit. I came to Performers Edge and met the most wonderful people. I mentioned the other school and did not even receive a look just professional help. I registered and could not be any more satisfied

Can't say enough about this place! 7yrs ago I walked my shy little 3yr old into a small studio never imagining how walking through those doors would change us. My daughter has grown so much along with this school. Performers Edge, now more than double the size and double the locations (eastchester) - has never left my girl behind! She now takes the stage with dancers of all kinds and all levels & has confidence and abiliIty I never thought possible! What I love so much about the school and it's staff, It is not about being the "best" its working for YOUR personal best and being the best YOU out there. Stefanine sees something different in everyone and they shine because they adore her and look up to her! She has a way with the kids which makes them believe in themselves and want to reach for the stars! Her staff takes after her direction-its a win win when you walk through those doors! Stefanie, her family and school is a staple in our life, and we love every dancing minute!

Hi my name is Jo-Ann am Brianni's mom. I have been a part of Performers Edge Dance Academy for 6 years going on 7. Brianni has been in company for 3. So let me begin on a personal level. Miss. Samantha and Miss Stefanie are the greatest people and role model any child should have. They are both wonderful, nurturing and caring for all there students. They have been a very large part of my daughters life as both a mentor and a friend. I myself consider them as not only my child's instructor and mentor but a friend/ big Sister. We have a great bond a Stronge bond and its getting stronger. We are a family not just clients. That's why I love this school and the staff here at PEDA. So no matter what you choose to write on this site it will never break us. It only makes us stronger. So holla!! PS. Karma is a bbbbbbb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nine years ago this week Performers Edge opened its door to many students from the Throgs Neck area. From that day until now the studio, students and staff has only become stronger. There are many haters around that are jealous and envy the success that Stefanie has brought to the Bronx. Some dont realize the more you hate on something the stronger it becomes. Stefanie and her staff have no time to stop and worry what other schools are doing, they move forward and focus on their students. This is the reason why they stand strong and continue to do well. Each student that enters the door of Performers Edge will learn not only to dance but to be a team player. Its very sad that some are stuck on the past. If you were unhappy at Performers Edge its time to move on and not look back. Not every place you enter in life is going to be the right place for you. As a parent of a dancer for many years I know it is due to Stefanie Salaman that my child is confident to be anything she wants to be.

You want to send your child to the best dance studio in the Bronx? Then that would be Performers Edge Dance Academy. Your child will become a confident and great dancer each and every year your child attends and will only grow and get better because of Miss Stefanie and her staff. This dance studio is loving and caring and is a 2nd home to us and our children it's family and it's unbreakable. There is no other place I would send my child... anyone who says otherwise, is just jealous and envious. P E D A What! What !

Although I only compete with hip-hop and breakdance I have spent enough time in the studio throughout the years and I can honestly say that all of the teachers, staff and other dancers are great ppl. :)

i danced at a different dance studio for 11 years. i decided i wanted a different experience. so i started going to PEDA. during my trial lesson i already felt like i improved so much. Ms. Stefanie Salaman and the staff taught me things i never thought i would be able to achieve. The whole studio feels like a family. i have achieve so much talent, stage presence and skill that i would never have without peda. Ms. Stefanie pushes me to work harder everyday. It helps me so much. I have never improved in something so much in such a short amount of time. I love it at Peda. everyone should dance here!

What can I say about the best dance studio in the Bronx? Well, PEDA is the best thing that ever happened to the Bronx since the Yankees. Stefanie, Samantha, Loren and the rest of the staff love and appreciate every child as individuals. My little girl has have the fortune of belonging to the PEDA family since she was 4yrs old, today she is a talented 9 years old dancer thanks to the guidance of the wonderful teachers at the studio. PEDA has become such an important part of her life that the idea of not being a PEDA dancer is as painful to her as losing both of her legs. Performance Edge Dance Academy is the best dance studio in the Bronx and will continue to be so due to its great leader, Stefanie Salaman. As per Marlene request, I was directed to add that she prefers to spend every last second of her down time at the studio and that sometime she wishes she could sleep over so that she doesn't have to waste time walking over because every minute counts.

P.E.D.A...... WHAT!!!! WHAT!!!!!, It's Gina..... My daughter Rio will be entering her second year with the Performers Edge Dance Academy company and words could never being to express the LOVE of dance I have watched her gain. The Director/Owner, Ms. Stefanie treats each and every dancer with all the love and respect and more importantly she treats the PARENTS with the same love and respect. All of the teachers are terrific and all of the dancer are wonderful.... P.E.D.A. is a family and Rio and I are proud to be a part of it!!!!! Oh, and did I forget to mention......The dancers ROCK IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I came to Performers Edge when I was 7. I had two left feet and my dancing could be described as nothing short of spastic. I'm going into my seventh year now and I can honestly say that Stefanie, Samantha and the rest of the staff have worked their hardest to transform me into not only the dancer, but the person I am today. Next month I'll be starting at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music &Art and the Performing Arts as a dance major. I know without this studio and all they've done with me over the years I would not be able to say such a thing. Thank you so much guys, I love you.

I'm Caitlyn, & I have been dancing at Performer's Edge Dance Academy since I was 5 years old. PEDA has made me grow into a talented dancer & person. PEDA's amazing teachers are always open to giving help to any student that needs it & always have a positive attitude towards everyone.
