Parkchester South Condominium operates a residential community located in Bronx, N.Y. Parkchester is an ethnically diverse, middle-class community located on more than 120 acres in the New York borough. Thousands of individuals live and work in the community of residential buildings, apartments and commercial enterprises. Parkchester South Condominiums is a lessor of the buildings in the Parkchester complex. The lessor also maintains public parks and operates a variety of recreational services and events for its residents. The complex was originally developed in 1939 and converted into condominiums in 1986. The original four quadrants of the development were divided into two entities: Parkchester North Condominium and Parkchester South Condominium. Each condominium is governed by an elected board of directors and supervised by a general manager.
