My experience with these great bear has been good over the years with my car repairs . I recommenced my brother here also , I sent my wife to repair her a/c June 2015 :cost $200 a week later no cold air in her car , they told her that she had to pay another $175 to fix the same problem she first came for ...BAD DEAL !!!

Great Bear was recommended. The work done was outstanding. My friend needed work done on a older Grand Marquis. We met Chris. Chris was not only versed in older cars, but became the primary mechanic for this vehicle. The car now runs fantastic. I now own my own car and had the rear and front bumper repaired due to other people parking mistakes. I couldn't believe it. The car look showroom new. Danny was very helpful. He recommended a body repair person to fix this car. The repair price was reasonably price and car repaired in one week. I would recommend this shop to all that need repair at a reasonable price. Most work is completed in a timely manner.

I haven't had any check engine light issues with my car but, what I did bring my car in for was taken care of quickly and within a normal price range from what I was quoted from other shops, before finally bringing my car to GREAT BEAR. After my experience with GREAT BEAR, I wouldn't consider going to another shop. They are professional, Clean, and seem to be honest.

I'm not sure why the last review was negative. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Great Bear. Of course it is a business and i'm sure they are going to point out other items that they see, since it is what generates business for them. They also have worked on issues with my check engine light and have solved the problem. The light did come back on a few weeks later but, when I went back to them to check it out, they didn't charge for me to do another diagnostic and the outcome was honest. I had just gotten gas and they left my gas cap off which set the light off. Great Bear was honest with me and told me the truth, rather then trying to sell me other items that werent' needed.

Don't trust these guy. I went in with my check engine light on and to get a tune up, well to make a long story short the light was off for about a month in a half. I paid. A. Lot of money. For this job to be. Done right and it wasn't. So I took the car back to get. Service for the same problem, and they want charge me again for the same problem .now they are telling me it's some else but it's the same problem went. I took the car to get service

I have been a customer for 6 years at great bear with great care and quality work. they are very reliable and their prices are unbeatable, i usually have the same mechanic every time i go for service i strongly recommend great bear for anyone who is looking for quality work and good rates for their car. the staff are an excellent team , Danny and Seth are the best. your loyal customer for 6 years Richard Vega "ford contour".

I HAVE BEEN COMING TO GREAT BEAR FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS, SINCE I MOVED TO THE BRONX. I FOUND THEM FROM THEIR DAILY NEWS AD AND THEY'VE BEEN MY MECHANICS AS WELL AS FRIENDS, EVER SINCE. THEY DO EVERYTHING FROM MY OIL CHANGES TO MY BRAKES AND HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIX ANYTHING I'VE EVER NEEDED AS WELL. I REFER THEM TO EVERYONE I KNOW AND TRUST THEM 100%
