I feel i was lied to about this management company and was told they were good. The first night i moved into the building i had to call 311 because they try to have the heat at a bare minimun but fail to have consistently have the legal minomum required heat.The lack of heat caused a pipe to burst in the apartment above me and started to flood my bathroom from above. While my bathroom was flooding i called the super to report the problem. This started at about 11pm. I called the super and he refused to do anything while my apartment continued to flood he said call him back in the morning after 9 am. So then i called the fire department. The firemen came into the building gained entry into the apartment above me; which was the source of the problem. The nice firemen shut off the water for the floor above me and came down and told me the pipe burst upstairs because they finally tried to put some heat on when it was way below freezing for days already. My bathroom was completely destroyed. The ceiling had all fallen down and i could see the mold and rust and rotten wood in between floors. They took 2 weeks to get the bathroom back to close to the shape it was in when i first rented the place 1 month earlier. I couldn't stay at the apartment for about 5 days till the bathroom was usable. I recently tried to speak the management company to take those days of my rent seeing that i have a 1 year old child that shouldn't be around mold dust and god only know what else came down with my ceiling. They didn't acknowledge the problem they caused and haven't done a thing but ask for the regular rent rate. They made the cheapest repairs to.my bathroom they could and walls that crumbled when you touched them all they did was throw alot of compound on it and paint when all the walls had excessive water damage. I would not recommend anyone to move into any one of there properties. They operate slightly better then slumlords.
