I have good and bad news.
The good news is I bought a shih tzu who I absolutely adore! Lynn was a doll she’s the lady who works there. Chris and Jamie were helpful and patient too! They took the time to answer all of my questions. The shop will give you a vet with FREE doctor vists but u have to pay for shots. ($90-up) includes free medicine. But the vet is in Queens and I live in the Bronx.

When I purchased my dog I took him home and I noticed he was sneezing and coughing. (I thought nothing of it) Two days after he couldn’t bark and was sounding like he had a lot of mucus in his throat. I panicked and took him to the nearest vet in the Bronx. They charged me for the visit and antibiotics. I later took him home and called Gabbys pet shop. Chris answered and told me to bring him in so he can go in the incubator. They kept him for about a week. Lynn was so sweet and took great care of him.
After a week I took him home and he was feeling a lot better. With selling me a sick dog I thought they would refund me the doctors bill that I payed for. It was only 2 days and he was very sick.
I called and Jamie told me “they can not refund me for the doctors bill.” She handed the phone to Her Manager. He got on the phone and was very nasty with me. He was very condescending and said “oh I’m slow please excuse me I don’t know what your saying” “oh my name is Adam oh my name is Anothany”. “What’s that you want something for free?” This is a Caucasian male who thought it was ok to speak to me (a buying customer) in that manner.
I then called the queens shop to speak to Don the owner and he was very passive aggressive. (Also a white male.) I am embarrassed to even be associated with them and a company that would stand for that kind of behavior from their “management” and owner. Gabby pet shop will no longer receive my business nor my friends or families. I know I’m a small fish in a big pond but I hope others are not treated this way.

Hi i want to give accolades to lynn and chris at gabby pets, i purchase a beautiful party pomeranian today and he's great! The staff as mentioned above are extremely professional and quite helpful and knowledgeable about the care and needs of the pets at the shop. They gave me everything we needed for our new edition to our family and we are grateful.. Thanks Lynn and chris so much.

---1st post - Lynn was wonderful. Answered my questions with patience and honesty. All of the dogs appeared to be properly cared for and healthy. I purchased a Shiba Inu. Jamie was helpful in explaining the paper work and addressing my concerns with medical insurance and the like. I didn't give 5 stars because the veterinarian is extremely out of the way for the Bronx location.

I purchased a 10 week old male shih Tzu on 4-1-2017. The employees Lyn and Jamie were extremely helpful, kind and answered all of my questions. They also cleaned and trimmed my puppys nails before I took him home. Along with giving me the breeders information and detail list of the food/ vitamins he is required to eat. I took him to the vet. on 4-3-17. The vet visit was free because it was included with the purchase of the puppy. The vet. gave him a good bill of health. With the exception of the puppy having kennel cough. Which is common in puppies coming from a pet shop. The vet also gave the shih Tzu meds. which I didn't have to pay for. I am extremely pleased with my experience at Gabby's pet shop.

On June 21, I came in looking for a third small puppy for my daughter Iris, the staff (Noemi, Lynn and Gabby ) were very friendly and helpful. If you ever need a great place to shop for animals, I highly recommend coming here, this is the place to be in the Bronx. It is a perfect match, def will do business with these guys again. Gabby pet shop is the best my son has autism and I was looking for a puppy for him. Noemi had got the perfect puppy for him and she gives her number just in case if you have a question on the pet and they really work with you so you be happy very friendly and it does not smells and they are very clean.....

Love it went today to ask about the finance on puppies and walked out with suzy,a beautiful caramel poodle,noemi was such a great help gave me all the supply for the puppy and also gave me her cell just in case of any issues with Suzy definitely going back,and would recommend in total confidence love it

2 days ago my daughter and I walked into Gabby's pet shop to check out some cute puppies and as soon as we walked in Lynn looked at us and said I have the perfect dog for you. We were immediately in love with Caramel a Silky Chon....Lynn and Noemi are very nice and helpful. They gave us all the supplies we need for our new puppy and gave us in depth instructions on how to take care of him. Noemi is so into the care of these animals, she even gave us her cell phone number and said we can call her anytime day or night for help. I would recommend this pet shop to anyone,they have a variety of beautiful well kept animals.

By far the best customer service I have ever had. Noemi & Lynn are really great. They impressed me with all their knowledge on the dogs. Made me even more confident in taken my dogs home..... thanks ladies.....

The best experience ever, top quality service, they really work with you if needed....bunch of laughter and joy, they're very knowledgeable about animals. I love them, I came here for one puppy and left with two ����������������������������

On April 4th I purchased a female German Shepherd let me start off by saying that she is a beautiful dog. In addition to this the Staff we're very helpful and courteous in helping me select my breed. They also help me with financing.

My son and I got a morkie and i cannot stress enough how great and knowledgable the staff was...very accommodating and you could immediately tell that they really do care about the pets they have at the store. Would absolutely recommend!!!!

Bought my maltipoo from here and she is the sweetest puppy in the universe. She loves to snuggle with my daughter and she also thinks shes pit bull when someone comes to the door lol!! Neomi was the salesperson and was very helpful. I also have her groomed there every month

love coming to this store,all their puppies are so cute and playful. we bought a pomeranian from them 3 yrs ago and shes healthy and happy!!!!

I have been getting my dog groomed here for years and recently saw a bulldog in the window while getting my dog groomed. I fell in love with her and had to buy her. She is the laziest,fattest,healthiest puppy ever!

My girlfriend and I were looking for a Siberian husky and looked all over the Bronx for one. We found a beautiful one at Gabby pets and we bought her for a reasonable price.

My wife surprised me with a golden retriever from here and he is the best dog in the world. He is smarter than most my friends!!!! He is also a good guard dog. I will definitely be buying another dog from them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just had my poodle groomed by Damian.... He did an amazing job. SOOO mujch better than that other groomer Danny. Danny cut my dogs ear and tried to lie and say he didnt do it. so glad he got fired. Thanks sooooo much Damian!!!!!

Gabby pets is the best pet shop I've seen around I've been to a few around the way but none of them made me feel like gabby pets . You feel welcome when you open the door.. they always have fresh new beautiful puppies on display plus all the things you may need to keep your pet beautiful. The only place I feel comfortable to shop hands down . Thank you gabby pets for having what I need

This store is way over price. They are liars. I brought a kitten 2 yrs ago n paid $250 for it. They told me it was a full breed maine coon cat. It was not. Maybe 1/4 but definitely not full. Today I wanted to buy a regular cat. They told me $250. Not for no regular cat. I went to another store n got one for $60
