We love The Children's Learnin...

We love The Children's Learning Company. I can't understand parents that don't want to be involved in the caring and teaching of their child. I have only experienced greatness at the program that has care and taught my son so much. I have volunteered and spent many hours with the teachers and the Director during parties and school trips; organization has never been a problem in any event, trips are thoughtfully put together as well as creative. Monthly calendars are given to parents about the events and activities so as a parent you are always involved. Teachers care and nurture even during their hour of lunch just to ensure that the children are happy. They spoon feed, change diapers, love them when they're sad and crying, sit on the floor to play with them. I have seen these teachers in action and I can only say AMAZING WORK! Not everyone can do what these ladies do.

Addressing the parent that discussed how the school trip were disorganized so untrue. Chaperoning is just that help to supervise adding extra eyes and ears to the group.

Perhaps you are the parent that shows up late to school trips departures, break school policies ( there are not many at all) and expect different treatment from the rest of us. Then this is not the program for you and your child.

I just want to say that the school is respectful of all parent and do apply the policies across the board to everyone. Keep up the great work teachers. Thank you for everything you do on behalf of myself and all parents.

Stop looking! You will get great service and tranquility while at work. I am a busy mom and my husband works evenings trying to find a place that will work with us and still provide quality care for my daughter was difficult but CLC was a blessing. My daughter loves her school, she eats better and she naps now so she isn't as cranky when we pick her up, she shares now, she was potty trained, they even taught her how to color, identify and spell her name, she 2 1/2. I am so busy I cant always do the homework but I know that they take the time to give us take home work so I can see and participate in what she is learning new at school. I appreciate that they keep us involved and connected with her daily activities no other place really does that . I should know my son was in day care and his program made me feel guilty that I couldn't pick him up earlier or participate as much. I decided to find a place that would work with me not against me. Children's Learning Company is a blessing to parents that need to feel comfortable about leaving their children because we have to work. I want to make sure that the program offers a well rounded child development program and a nurturing environment. Thank you Ms. Norma and staff job well done!

My child is currently attendin...

My child is currently attending the Children's Learning Company. I couldn't be more satisfied.

When I first placed my child, at age 2 with CLC, she wasn't potty trained. While she could talk, she often preferred to point or signal instead of speaking. As an only child, she was still learning only the very basic socialization at home.

Within one school year (10 months) she became very articulate, potty trained and social. She learned to count, her ABC's , and shapes. She's now 3 1/2. She writes her name, she can do basic adding and subtracting and she has roughly an hour of homework (which she loves!) a day. She'll be learning to read this coming school year and more advanced adding and subtracting.

The instructors at CLC are excellent. They take great personal pride in their teaching and the accomplishments of their students. They are gentle and understanding but no push-overs. The head of the school (and it is a school, not a day-care) is Ms. Norma. She is constantly updating the curriculum for improvements and new technology. Ms. Norma is also very involved with the students on a daily basis and has classes with the older group. She is available most mornings and evenings to consult with parents and answer any concerns or inform a parent of their child's recent accomplishments.

However, her involvement doesn't stop with her school. Ms. Norma works with parents to help place their children in charter and private schools after they leave her care.

Overall, the staff and facility owner excel at teaching both academics and social graces. I would highly recommend the Children's Learning Company to any parent.
