RUDE WOMAN AT THE FRONT DESKS

I have a 12 week old puppy and I brung him in for a check up and shots for the first time. they said he has parasites and gave me crappy medicine that only made him worse!! the woman in the front desk look like they are bored with their job and don't want to be there. especially one young lady with glasses, very white, light curly hair. she attended me with soo much attitude!!! DR katz is awesome!! very considerate and caring.. But he needs a more friendlier staff. DR katz offers me cheap prices and the idiots in the front desk always want to charge me more. they never tell me the right information. As soon as my puppy gets better.. I will find a better veterinary hospital.

I love bringing my loving dog here. They are very friendly with her and every time they see my baby they go crazy for her. I have a Rottweiler which can look pretty intimidating to many people although she is a butterball and the staff just love her. In respect to Dr. Vyorst I have been going to him since he was in Grand Concourse and I trust him. The office is highly clean and the staff are friendly. It is what I call a Montefiore clinic for my Arizona. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I thank them for taking good care of my girl and sad to say that we will be moving out of the states, but if I had a choice we would pack them in our suitcase. Arizona will miss you guys. You have taken good care of her since she was 5 weeks old.

expensive. took my bull terrier there. was never properly diagnose but vet told he might have congenital heart decease or cancer. he had acumulate some fluid in his body the vet told me it was better to put him down cause he will suffer. i made that desission and regret it ever since. found out this symptoms could have been treated. the vet never gave me this obtion. my dog could have been with me today or at least been with me for a short time. for me i could have taking him somewere else and he would have a fighting chance or at least i could have been told of other obtions. at the end i walk in with my dog and ended with a dead dog and a $600 dollar bill for my efforts. do your research before making this same desision. miss my dog very much..

i.Great Treatment at Bronx Veterinary Center I want to thank the Bronx Veterinary Center for their kind, compassionate and professional treatment when our dog died two weeks ago. I particularly want to point out and thank Mr. Jean Molina, who was a great help to us during this extremely sad time. His compassion and care were a huge consolation to my family and I. This is such a beautiful place. It looks like a clinic for people SERIOUSLY, you will never guess it is for animals. It is pretty big, not like other places where it is cramped up, and u have to hold ur dog or cat in your lap. They moved from grandconcourse to webster/fordham, and wow. There is two diff waiting areas (which is a plus). Cages on the wall for big, aggressive, or sick dogs. Two diff receptionist, one for incomers and other for outcomers. To see a vet and do a check up is like $50, and anything extra is added at the end (with your permisssion). Other places do not even ask you what they are administering your pet and the ending bill is expensive. Theres a hospital and pharmacy in the back. The place is beautiful and seems like high quiality. The staff are sooooo sweet! And they call you the next day to see how your animal is doing. Only critique I have is tht there is always different vets at different times. The best vet is really the founder of the place, Dr. Katz.

A fantastic Animal Hospital is amazing! My family and I love Dr. Katz and the staff. We fully trust our dogs with them. Dr. Katz always comes in with a big smile on his face and greets us and our pets warmly. He shows how much he truly cares for our dogs. The staff is also friendly and very helpful. If anyone is looking for an office and vet, The Bronx Veterinary Center is for sure the best place to bring your beloved pet, I highly recommended because I am always satisfy w/their services I see some negative reviews on this hospital all I can said is "if you don't like the place go to another hospital" I have gone to all the places in the Bronx and this is the BEST

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I have been taking my sweet kitty to Dr. Katz since 2008 [then The Concourse Animal Hospital]. His reception staff is very friendly, the doctors are always caring, sympathetic, informative and never appear rushed even with a waiting room full of pts. When I first came to Dr. Katz my kitty was very ill and almost died from a complete urinary crystal blockage. Even as a new pt. they fit us in right away. The staff, Dr. Katz and Dr. Barbera were especially sensitve to what me and my cat were going through and in the interim saved his life. 3 Christmases and 3 Birthdays later me and my kitty are still together. He is happy and healthy and we owe it all to the staff at The Bronx Veterinary Center/Concourse Animal Hospital. BTW, the new location on Webster Avenue is clean, spacious, and beautiful. The decor now is deserving of the staff.

I don't RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS AT ALL. THEY CARE MORE ABOUT THE MONEY THAN ABOUT THE PET. THE RECEPTIONIST ARE NOT SYMPATHETIC AND THE VETERINARIAN EITHER. THE VETERINARIAN DID NOT CONVINCE ME SHE DOESN'T SEEM TO HAVE EXPERIENCE AT ALL. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET THEN THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO TAKE IT

I have been a client of Dr Katz for the last 2 years. On my last visit I became aware of the person he his and how much compasion he has. My dog blacky woke up very sick on that morning and I took him to Dr Katz hospital with out calling ( he look to sick and it was no reason for him to be like that, the night before he was fine) upon arrival the staff was great and help me, doctor on premises took my dog in right away I did not wait and they did not waste anytime on him (he had ate some rat poison I did not know he had) after they save my dog I had to paid for the treatment medicine etc I relize I had ran out of my house with no cash credit cards etc ..I call my husband and he came to the hospital to paid but by then it was time for them to close for the day .,.A staff member call David stay after hours w/me while I wait (the poor thing look so tired for what I got from a conversation it had been a very busy day) they are fantastic and hepl me 100% I gave them an A+

Over the last 16 years Dr. Katz has been the vet to my four dogs, bird and turtle and I have experienced nothing but highly qualified, polite and great staff. One of my dogs initially showed aggression towards the vet and the staff was able to calm him and provide care for him without a problem. Over the years I have lost two elderly dogs and when the time came for euthanasia, the staff and Dr. Katz were there holding my hand and allowed me to hold my dogs as they passed. They were respectful and allowed me all the time I needed with my dogs until I was ready to give them over into their care for cremnation. Those difficult times were eased by the care and attention given to me and my dogs even after they passed away. I have in the past and will in the future continue to recommend this doctor to friends and family.

I have taken my puppy here 2 times and i have to say i am not satisfied. The staff up front are polite and i have not had a problem getting an appointment but once i was in with the doctor, my view changed about this vet. I feel they were not informant enough. I had to basically dig and contnue questioning about my puppy's health..information that should be standard for the doctors to give. The first time I went in, the vet was more interested in playing with my dog rather than answering my question! I would ask up to 2 times and eventually the tech was the one who answered after seeing the doctor was entertaining my dog. I love my dog very much and take serious measures to ensure his well being. I will not be returning to this vet and will not recommend them to anyone either. I would be happier if the people upfront would be the ones in charge of my pet's care! They seem much more compassionate than the vets themselves!

My family and I have been clients of Concourse Animal Hospital for many years. The facility has now moved and changed it's name: Bronx Veterinary Center. The facility is much larger, clean and full of warm colors as well as an amazing staff. Over the years, they have maintained superb care. Dr. Katz and his staff treats all of their clients like extended family. There were many but to share one example; When my pet was ill Dr. Katz was sincerely concerned about her condition. He and his staff followed up on her long after the bill was paid. He is not all about the finances, he genuinely cares about our pet's health. Its a pleasure to have a facility in these times with integrity, patience and professionalism. Dr. Katz is not just a dedicated veterinarian he's also an amazing human being. You can TRUST Dr. Katz and his staff with your beloved pet. I'm grateful !!!

I brought my baby Leon in and everyone on staff was so helpful. They made myself and Leon feel very comfortable. They showed a lot of genuine concern. They took their time to explain everything from medications to general care for my Leon and how much things would cost and helped me a great deal to provide the best care for Leon. I would definitely recommend the Bronx Veterinary Center to anyone who wants professional and adequate care for their pets....

Dr. Katz and his staff have given nothing but EXCELLENT care to my pets for years. I was happy to hear that they moved to a new location and are now known as Bronx Veterinary Center. The facility is larger, beautiful, comfortable (for pets and their owners) and your pets receive wonderful care...for great prices. I will continue to recommend Bronx Veterinary Center to my family and friends.
