Founded in 1993, Bronx Leadership Academy is a collaborative project operated by the New York City Department of Education and South Bronx Churches. It is a nondenominational organization of religious organizations offering services for the revitalization of the south Bronx area in New York. It is an educational institution that prepares students to succeed in their future academic, career and personal goals. The academy is housed in a two-story building and the facility includes classrooms, science laboratories, a music room, art studio and library. It also includes computer labs wired to the Internet, cafeteria, gymnasium with locker rooms and showers, cafeteria, and faculty and administrative offices. The academy is located in Bronx.
