They won't show apartments before you pay for a credit and background check. They also want 15 percent of first years rent. I found an apartment with another broker who only charged one months rent and did not charge for a background check. Now 212realty has me sitting in the office for 2 hours waiting for them to give me my credit report and background check that I paid for. We have to keep asking what the delay is and cannot get definitive answers. I bet if we rented with them the checks would be done.

Don't bother wasting your time here. They have the worst service and the staff is terrible.
