Do not use this company! My move was less than 2 miles and they managed to destroy my $400 dryer, $650 TV stand, and $2200 stainless steel refrigerator. In the middle of all the discussions with Greg in the claims dept, they decided to fire Greg. So I now had to explain everything all over again as to what they did wrong and where Greg and I were with regard to the reimbursement discussions. I wound up fixing the dryer myself for $20, and accepted $460 for the TV stand since it was over 3 years old. However, the refrigerator was only 54 weeks old when the move took place, so I expected a large sum of money as an offer, however I received a $436 offer because they claim that is what a new door costs. To make matters worse the refrigerator is discontinued so they were not able to find a replacement door. So if they can't find the door, I will not be able to find the door, which makes the $436 offer worthless since the entire refrigerator's appearance is now compromised forever. It's been 2 months and I have no check for the damaged fridge, am not receiving calls back from anyone, and we are still looking at a huge dent in one of the doors.

When they were taking the fridge out of the old house, they banged it against a corner of a kitchen wall, completely scraping a ton of paint off the wall. It was a good thing I was touching up paint around the house during the move, so I was able to touch up this screw up. But just another case of their carelessness.

I am unsure where all of these good reviews come from but Two men and a Truck in Tulsa moved me in May and the experience was horrible. It took them double the time to move me and the movers came totally unprepared with no tools after I advised that I would need a bed taken down before we could move it. The movers were not skilled at moving and ended up breaking my refrigerator and making my door off track from using a screwdriver and hammer to try to get the door off. Therefore, I am SUING them!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL BE TRICKED AND SORRY!

Gather round and listen to the epic saga of how Two Men and a Truck heavily damaged my parents-in-law’s refrigerator and refused to take care of it. It all began during their in-town move when the two movers decided they wanted to move the thing out of the front door. Now, with the doors off, it wouldn’t have been a problem. But they didn’t take them off, and as a result the fridge received three major scratches. Not little cosmetic things, but great gouges that went deep into the material. Oh, and thanks to the movers policy of not taking five minutes to remove the doors, they couldn’t get it into the house – they left it in the garage. We filled out the damage report and expected to hear back

What followed next was an avalanche of promises unkept and phone calls unreturned. They said the appliance repair place that could fix it had dropped the ball and it was out of their hands, but the repairmen said they hadn’t heard from Two Men at all. After two weeks, they finally offered us to pay us $240, based on a formula of 60 cents per pound – never mind that, according to the manufacturer, two of the three doors cost a combined $348 just to buy, not even to install. We’ve tried both the local and the corporate office via phone and email, but still nothing. The local office has been especially bad at getting back to us, even hanging up on us several times. It’s been exactly a month now, and they still haven’t fixed the fridge.

Though they did finally move the fridge into the kitchen 10 days later, though even then they didn’t show up at the time they originally promised they’d be there.

Great Move. Would definitely recommend 2 men and a truck. On time, easy on furniture and stuff, and worked hard. I plan to use them again when we buy our new home.

Please do not use this company. You will be deceived, overcharged and be left with damaged furniture! The kid which moved the few heavy pieces of furniture from storage to our new house about two miles away took five hours. He confessed he was completely new at his job, Knocked off sheet rock and wood chunks and gashes are left in my fine wood furniture. Some are antiques and some expensive quality furniture. He spent 30 minutes in the truck trying to figure out how to write out the bill of which we were charge for his time to be ignorant and unprofessional. I was amazed at the way the movers but expensive chairs on their heads and flung the legs around banging every wall as they moved. Apparently they helped themselves to a couple of our personal moving blankets we had in our garage because the manager said that two extra blankets were returned that what we actually rented.

1/25/14 Movers broke the glass...

1/25/14 Movers broke the glass on my desk. The movers said the company would send out Robinson Glass to measure the desk and replace the glass at no charge to us. We have yet to hear from Robinson, and the first call to the company was most unpleasant. I will report back and up the rating if they fulfill their promise. As of now, I am upset.

UPDATE2/10/14: I just got a call from their Quality Control Specialist who said Robinson Glass will be calling, so I've upped my rating. If they call in a timely manner, I will up it again. I work in a service industry and we always stand behind our service. I will be happy if 2 Men does too. UPDATE 2/13/14: The glass has been measured, but no call back yet. We are 3 weeks in...UPDATE 2/18/14: 2 Men assures me that the glass company will replace my glass on the 26th. That will be 5 weeks which doesn't make me happy, but if it happens, I will up my rating. I want them to be successful in making this right. I cannot change my rating until then, but I am hoping to end this on a happy note. If so, I will give them a good rating with a clear conscience. FINAL Update. The glass was replaced and it looks great. A rep from 2 Men started calling to check on what was happening after the replacement appointment was made, and he called several times to check on it. I am very relieved that this ended happily and will give them a reference in the future. It would have been better if the whole thing had gone quicker and smoother, but all's well that ends well.

This company was a life saver. My company booked with another moving company in town and the moving company called at the last minute and canceled on us! I was so disgusted I did not want them to come out the next day to do it. I googled for a few minutes and found this company and saw the good reviews about them, especially lately. I called and they said that they could send a 2 man crew THAT DAY. The men were very polite and well behaved. I'm sure my move went a lot better and move smooth than it would have anyways if I had stayed with the previous company. Thank you two men and a truck!

Thank you for making my move much easier. With all of the different moving companies out there I felt overwhelmed with while company I would use. When I called though everyone was very polite and made it so easy for me to choose your company. AND I'm glad I did! Thanks!

One word for this company; WOW...

One word for this company; WOW! I was very impressed with attitude and work ethic of the movers. From beginning to end my move was seamless! I had my doubts with hiring a moving company but they alleviated my concerns from jump. I have alot of very expensive and antique items that they handled with the utmost care. I will never use another moving company other than Two Men And A Truck. I highly recommend these guys for any moving needed!

Not Very Happy

My husband and I have moved 17 times in 27 years and decided that this time we would have someone else do the work.

I read ratings and Two Men And A Truck had the best so we chose them.

When I called for the estimate I was told that it included the drive time from the office, taking things apart if needed, loading the truck, driving to the new address, unloading the truck, putting things where we wanted, and reassemblying things.

Before the move we took everything apart, and put all the furniture and boxes in one area so that all they had to do was load the truck. We thought that by doing this we would save time, and in the long run, money.

Wrong! It took them 7+hours to load the truck, drive 10 minutes to the new address, and unload. We had most items put in one room and we reassembled and put things where they belonged, they did not have to.

Then...when we started unpacking we found several broken items. A few were part of a dish set that I have had for 27 years and have never broken any pieces in the 17 moves that we did, and at least one item was a collectable plate, along with other items. Evidently the guys could not read VERY FRAGILE on the boxes.

When we went to call about the broken items, we realized that we only had 4 days to call. Due to health problems (which is why we needed help to begin with), we did not have everything unpacked in 4 days.

After getting all the boxes unpacked, we realized that a box was missing. We called and they said they did not have it so we went back to the old address and looked to see if maybe it got left somewhere. It wouldn't be a big deal except that among other items in that missing box are approx. $400 in contacts. Not there! I called again and was told that they would do some research and call me back. It has been a week (a month from the actual move date) and I have not heard a thing.

So...we spent $600+ to have them move us, lost $400 in contacts plus the other items in that box, and unknown $ in broken items that are not replaceable.

Therefore, I would NOT recommend this company to anyone who needs help moving.

***Just a note: It has now been 6 months and still no response to the "we'll do some research and get back with you". NEVER use this company!
