Ron and Diane Barfield are the owners of Royal Touch painting, On July 1, 1991, we started our Royal Touch Painting business in Tulsa, OK. It was a struggle getting started and we passed out flyers at the beginning. After getting our first job, about 5 or 6 people in the neighborhood contacted us to do their painting, because they could see the detail Ron went to in power washing, caulking, taping and masking off the brick, covering the windows with plastic and taking every precaution to have a very pleased customer. Word of Ron's quality painting began to spread. It was a very humble beginning but we decided to go for it and we are still here after 23 1/2 years! Ron did all the work for a few years, but in 1996 I joined him and he taught me how to do very detail painting. As our business grew, we were able to hire a painter to work with Ron, and I did more office managing, estimates, color consultations and went to get supplies, etc. It was exciting when we were finally able to take out an ad in YP (formerly AT&T). We were then able to hire another painter and our business began to really grow. Our customers are very loyal and not only call us back over and over again, but refer us to others.
