UNDER THE CAPTIVE SENARIO, BOTH THE INSURED AND THE AGENT ARE POWERLESS OVER WHAT THEY ARE FORCED TO PAY. SO WHY PLAY THE CAPTIVE GAME AT ALL??? RECAPTURE CONTROL OVER WHAT YOU END-UP HAVING TO PAY BY HIRING AN INDEPENDENT AGENT WHO REPRESENT ANY NUMBER OF COMPANIES AND PRODUCTS . It looks as if I have made the best financial protection decision since 1980. I was always confused by the information about Part D’s prescription plan and no one in the industry could ever give me a straight answer or a full answer. It was very frustrating to say the least. Meeting you at Ace Hardware and your brief mention about a workable plan must have been divine intervention. When my wife turned 65 I called you and we visited at our house about your program. I thought it was great at that time as did my wife. I never knew how great a plan it was going to be for me nor did I think that I would ever use it. But on April 5 I used the heck out of the plan. I was hospitalized for only 72 hours and the bill was over $35,000.00 and that did not include the last day’s charges. Their financial officer came to visit me on Tuesday afternoon and I dreaded hearing what she was going to say. However, she told me my co-pay was only $150.00. I just about fell out of bed. I gave her my debit card and when she returned I asked what the bill was and again almost fell out of the bed. I am sure the total was over $50,000.







Moreover, our prescription costs, which we were paying cash for our RX’s has dropped from over $600.00 per month to just about $100.00 per month. As you can see this plan has paid for itself many times over in just the very short period of time that we have had it. Claims are promptly paid and the EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) from Generations are always received in a timely manner written in laymens’ terminology and are easily understood. I have never had to call for an explanation of what was paid or what I am going to have to pay. This is the best thing since zippers.
