Provided by YP.comI was a loyal customer until today. I mostly ordered delivery and it seemed as though my orders were overpriced here recently. I was never given a receipt for any of my orders until I personally requested one today. I always give a $5-$10 tip to the delivery driver. When I received the receipt, it had a delivery fee scribbled on it down at the bottom. I was never told that Italiano Café charged a delivery fee and wasn't sure if this was done by the driver personally or what. So I called to make sure this was a legitimate business charge. I recognized the person answering the phone as the wife of the owner and tried to speak with her. I asked her if that was their charge .She became immediately defensive and tried to argue with me saying things like, "Mam-you mean you're trying to tell me that you have NEVER been charged a delivery fee from other places EVER before?" Somehow she could not grasp the point that I was trying to help her out by giving her some free biz. advise. I could care less about a delivery fee except that by not informing their customer's of it and trying to hide it was not perfectly legal and will lose them business, like they did today. She passed the phone to someone else and did not bother telling me. She will not be benefiting from my orders anymore and I will be reporting this and the receipt to the proper authorities. Alfredo's in Bristol have the same recipe's with amazing customer service. I personally recommend them to anyone.

Provided by YPmobileMy family and I had never eat at this establishment so I called to have food delivered. I was told it would be here within the hour. Well 3 hours later and MANY calls later it finally arrived but some was missing so I called back and was told it would be sent out to me after 2 more hrs still no food so I called and was yelled at and cused by the manager/ owner ?????? Will never eat there again!!!!���� be careful there vicious

Provided by YP.comI have to agree with the good food but bad customer service. I was waiting on a delivery which was already 20 mins late (only had 30 min lunch at work) and when I called to see what was going on I was yelled at by the owner before he hung-up on me

Provided by YP.comthey have good food but their customer service is awful. I just called them because they charged my lunch (which i was paying by cash) on my friends card and they said they issued credit. I called them and the owner went off and hung up on me and all i wanted to know when it is going back on the card. I called them back and the lady that answered the phone smarted off too. i told her we would never order from them again.

ordered food for lunch and the order was not correct. called back and was told they would remake it. WELL, owner called back and said he would NOT replace it. He acted like a child!! No class, cant even speak english!! That should have been my first clue!! never again!!

My wife and I ordered food here a few weeks ago and waited for 35 mintues for 1 sub and a pizza. When we got the sub it was wrong. I took it back in and they merely scraped off the ingredients my wife didn't want (we realized this once we got home). They offered to replace the sub if we came in the next day, being a Sunday we didn't get a chance to go by. On Monday, the ticket for the free sub mysteriously disappeared. We have ordered from here 2 more times b/c the food is good but the service is horrible. Today I ordered food at 11:15 and picked it up at 12. After waitin in line for 10 minutes you can imagine my suprise when they told me my food wasn't ready. I will NEVER order from this restaurant again. The overall customer experience just isn't worth it. BEWARE before ordering from here!
