We were told by the VERY young girl who was going to pierce my 5 yr. old granddaughter's ears that we "could not use rubbing alcohol or hydrgen peroxide to clean the ears because it would STRIP THE METAL OF THE EARRINGS". I was buying their 14 kt gold earrings at $55. We told her alcohol/peroxide would not hurt true gold. All she could defend her statement with was, "I don't know. That's what they train me to tell you guys". The debate went on and on. She was completely unprofessional from the minute she met us at the door. Spoke non-stop about herself & her personal life. Told us she was considered the "Piercing Princess" there at Claire's. Did not put on gloves when getting ready to pierce granddaughter. WE WALKED. NO PIERCING there.



Went to American Graffiti on Grand River. Clean practices, very professional, reasonable rates.
