Let me share my unfortunate experience. John took a $1500 deposit from me in early November. I waited for about a month for a job to be started. Finally in mid December John confirmed that he won't be able to do the job and will return deposit back. Two months have passed. I still haven't received my money back and John have stopped all communications. John was absolutely great in "selling his services" to me: returned my initial call super fast, gave fair quote and sounded super professional. Unfortunately, when it came to execution, there were multiple delays with the project start date and he never returned my deposit.
