Tyin’ Knots has been fishing Brigantine & the surrounding saltwater area since the first days of their fishing career. Over time, the crew has gained much knowledge of the area, including small creeks, and even offshore reefs/wrecks. The crew loves helping people land their dream fish, but also enjoys having a great time while doing so even more. We specialize in Striped Bass fishing, especially the fall run which is our favorite time to target these fish. Although, we always have a ton of fun hitting wrecks & reefs targeting the tough fighting Tog & Sea Bass. There is always back bay fishing trips also, with just a short run from where we dock our vessel you’ll be able to target the very sought after, Summer Flouder, aka Fluke, throughout the summer. Lastly, of course we offer offshore trips as well, on these trips we get to target hard fighting species like Shark, Mahi, Tuna and more. The boat you will be aboard is a model 2520 (25ft), 1994 Pilothouse Parker, with a beam of 9’6” making it easy to run in the ocean. The vessel is powered by 2 150 horsepower 2015 Evinrude engines. Also, the boats flooring was redone in 2015. As far as electronics, on board we have a VHF radio, GPS, Fishfinder & Radar to help put our clients on the fish. We have an icebox where you can store your drinks & snacks, and any extra items you may need to bring can be stored down below in the cabin. Lastly, on most trips you will have a first mate on board, who is in charge of the dirty work who does happen to work fully on tips, which is normally, but not limited to 20%.
