ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! DONT GO HERE
My 2 friends &I came in in September for nipple piercings &Noel pierced us. I wish I knew more about how to properly pierce nipples like I do now, because I would have been sent RUNNING from this shop had I done even a little bit of research:
Firstly, we got pierced by 14g needles. Female nipples should never be done with such a small gauge. (Call any shop in Chicago, theyll agree). Secondly, Noel put 7/16 barbells in both me &my friend (keep in mind that my friend has bigger nipples than me but still got the same length put in). I lasted 4days before the pain from the jewelry being too tight made me unable to sleep. There was lymph, blood, &pus draining regularly. A light breeze would make me have to shield my boobs because they were so sore!). (&I know it wasn't my aftercare that was problematic because I have successfully healed 17 piercings&5 tattoos without issue)
We went back to the shop &said we thought the jewelry was too small. My friend had half of her balls on the ends of the barbells sinking into her nipples bc it was so badly fitted. We were told it looked fine, but he'd happily switch it out if we paid for the jewelry. BTW they only have externally threaded barbells WHICH IS NO BUENO. (when switching jewelry, the threads can tear at your skin &offset healing).
I took that as our final hint to leave the shop &find a properly trained piercer. (who I went to &he was completely horrified by what this alleged "professional piercer" did)
After over 2months of proper healing &non-shit jewelry, I now wear 9/16 barbells. Meaning, Noel pierced me with initial piercings that were unable to accommodate for post-piercing swelling, &are still too small to ever fit on my healed nipples. My friend managed to find a place to switch out her jewelry as well, but her left nipple was so traumatized they couldn't save the piercing. She actually didn't mind this bc they were super crooked anyway. Literally NOTHING was properly done here.
