What a disappointment! Di Lisi Restaurant use to be our favorite Italian restaurant in the Bridgeton area. We have been going there since 2012. However, my last few takeout experiences were not pleasant. Missing items, like the missing large order of marinara sauce from this order, is now becoming routine. I understand that prices have to go up because of today's inflation. However, shrinking the portions to sizes that will leave you hungry, while raising prices, is getting greedy. We have ordered the same combination several times in the past, which usually resulted in leftovers. However, after paying over $50 for two people and receiving substantially smaller portions, my wife had to make extra food to satisfy our appetite. The drastic change in service and food quality is starting to make us believe that this restaurant has a new owner and/or manager. It is time to start looking for a new restaurant.
